Easy and cost effective
Some of the sprinklers work great and some are leaking. I tried to contact customer service for a replacement but I never got a response.

This should be rated the best product on the market
This should be rated the best product on the market! You can literally build your own sprinkler system and save thousands! We several bids for inground sprinkler systems and they ranged from $5500 to $7200 for our rather large back yard -- which we couldn't afford. At the same time, we were sick of reseeding every year because the yard got burned out. So, my husband ran about a dozen hoses and sprinklers and timers and made his own sprinkler system which looked ugly and drove me nuts! Not to mention every time we cut the grass we had to move them. So, I buried all of the hoses throughout the yard and was so proud of myself however I had these ugly sprinklers sticking up out of the yard and figured there had to be a solution so I spent a day day researching solution and found these had pretty high customer reviews. So, I took a chance and ordered a set. I have to tell you, it is the best investment we have ever made! They are such great quality, literally the EXACT same equipment used for the inground full sprinkler systems, the only difference is they connect to your house with the quick connection. They are SO easy to install and after you read the instructions on how to configure the water flow and water direction, it is easy to get a hang of that too. I just LOVE these!

Good Product But Many Variables
This is a good product that looks like it will last. Somewhat easy to install but you need to apply a little common sense to have a successful install. I will provide my Pros and Cons and helpful tips below.Pros:1. Solves the problem of most sprinklers where it is stationary and will not move and quick snap and you are good to go.2. Don't have to ruin your lawn to install.3. Same performance as an expensive underground irrigation system but for a fraction of the cost.4. Comes with everything you need to do multiple uses.Cons:1. Not very user friendly, Videos give you a guidance but there are many things that you have to figure out on your own, it would be nice if the manufacturer provided more helpful tips videos.2. Product comes with a flaw (in my case) manufacturer says: "LEAKS. The sprinkler will leak from the turret, especially when the water is cut off and the turret retracts. This is because it is water pressure that holds the seals in place. If leaking occurs from other joints in the assembly, they may have become loose in transit. You may hand tighten or remove parts and add plumbers tape to the threads." Well every single unit I had leaked from the bottom where the sprinkler and the inlet tube mate.My Helpful Tips:1. Put plumbers tape on the bottom where the sprinkler and the inlet tube mate. Manufacturer doesn't specify its a must to do this but it is a must to do this because the packing it comes with doesn't do a good job on its own and leaks from the bottom of the unit and over time I can see this be a problem with the unit sinking underground.2. Make sure you know where the start of the sprinkler is (if you are reading the quick snap logo the start is where it says 360 and to the far left) you can manipulate the sprinkler to go more left but when the sprinkler is on it won't go further than the start. I thought it was adjustable but it is not and had to re-adjust the position.3. Viewing the how to video on the manufacturer's website is a must and don't overlook anything because if you don't follow it step by step you will have issues.4. The manufacturer recommends doing a hole 4" wide and 9" deep. But what I ended up doing is using a 6" pole digger shovel and made the hole about 5" wide this was very beneficial because I feel a 4" wide hole was way to tight of a fit where the tubing was crunched up a little and was leaking internally and when I made the hole a little bit wider it gave me plenty of space to adjust as needed and I did have to use more dirt to fill it but I feel it was better to fill too.5. On the hole subject do your 4" hole first put the unit underground and test it, this will keep the unit from moving and allow you to make your adjustments and to see from a distance. After that make your hole bigger at least 1" more, I used a 6" pole digger shovel, I just didn't open it all the way to not make a full 6" hole and then I finished the install. This method does have its disadvantages but it is what worked for me and thought I share.Overall I am happy with the purchase, I wish there weren't so many variables but at the end I feel it is worth it. I will update this review after 6 months to provide a performance review but I am glad I found something that solved all my problems trying to water my lawn.

bought 2 in 2011 then 5 in 2012
I purchased 2 of these sprinklers last summer (2011), for our front yard and put then diagonally opposite of each other. They did really well as they covered most of the yard but a small section in one of the corners wasn't getting covered. So this year spring, I decided to order more and put in the back yard so I ordered the 5 pack. At first before installing them in the back yard I thought it would surely take all 5 to cover the entire back yard. However, I decided to install 2 and see how they covered and go from there. As it turns out I only used 4 for the back yard and they all cover the yard quite well and I can even run all 4 at once if I want to. So, I took the 5th one and put it in the front yard where it wasn't quite getting covered enough with water. For the backyard, I use the Y splitter provided and run a hose off of each of that Y to it's own sprinkler. Since I already had a BRASS 4 way splitter I can do this with extra spikets to spare. So, from the house spiket, I have a short 6' hose then on the end of that hose I screwed on the BRASS 4 way splitter, then I screwed onto the brass spiket one of the plastic provided Y SPLITTERS. I tried to daisy chain the hoses by running one hose to a sprinkler then put a Y on that sprinkler to run another hose to another sprinkler but there wasn't enough water pressure to make the heads pop up doing it that way. I also bought some blue decorative rock from the fish dept. at walmart and I put some of those small rocks in the hole where the sprinkler goes to help drainage and then when I put all the dirt in the hole around the sprinkler I top off around the top portion of the sprinkler head with these pretty blue rocks so a mud pit doesn't develop as the water comes on/off. Also, in our backyard we have flower beds all the way around the sides and back of the yard so I ran ALL my hoses to these sprinklers in the flower beds and even installed the sprinklers in the flower beds so I NEVER HAVE TO UNHOOK AND MOVE THE HOSES TO MOW!! I have pictures of all this and if I could figure out a way to upload pics here I would. Or if anyone is interested post a reply to this review and I will email pics. to you. In the fall before it freezes I just use my air compressor to blow out any water in the sprinkler (And I didn't even buy the adapter they sell) because if you have the trigger adapter for your compressor that you would use to blow say dirt out of your garage etc. then that thing works fine to blow out the water in the sprinklers. I then covered the top of the sprinkler with aluminum foil and turned a 5 gallon bucket upside down to cover that and put a brick on the bucket so the KANSAS wind won't blow the bucket off. Another tip: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THESE SPRINKLERS!! When you install them, you CAN NOT adjust the left edge of where the water will spray only the right edge by using the key they provide. SO, with the left edge you need to rotate the entire sprinkler in the hole before you fill in the dirt around it so you get the left side watering where you want the water to land. I put the sprinkler in the empty hole before I put the dirt in the hole to gauge just where I want the left edge of the water to land. While the sprinkler is on, you can use your hand to rotate the sprinkler back and forth and not WAIT for it to cycle back on it's own to see where the water is landing on the right/left edges.
