Awesome product!
This is the next best thing to an in ground sprinkler system. I put the sprinklers close to my landscaping and then ran a flat black hose in my mulch to leave there. I just unplug it to mow and then hook it back up when I’m done. It’s always set just how I need it each time with no fumbling around to not water my neighbors yard too. I just got the water purger piece to pump out the water from the sprinkler head so I can leave it in the ground for winter. Once you get the hang of how to set up the sprinkler pattern it will become easier to do the others. I bought the 2 pack but might get 2 more to do the other parts of the yard. Also works great if you set up a timer on the hose. Runs whenever I need it to without ever messing with it.

Just Installed Review
The media could not be loaded. Just in the ground, so can’t speak to longevity or maintenance, but the installation was very easy, adjustments are extremely dynamic and the engineering seems robust and solid. Instructions were easy to follow, clear and well illustrated.I’m not planning to dig this up every winter, so winterization will be important. The bike pump idea is ingenious. Wondering if there’s a cover needed to keep rainwater out.I’m going to install some in ground sprinkler piping to make running the hose even less obtrusive. I’ll post on how that works out and how the sprinklers hold up to time and weather.

Genius idea, and pretty good implementation
These things are a genius idea, especially for those with smaller city or suburban yards. In my case, I was able to position one in the front, and one in the back to cover my entire lawn. So far, this has already saved me time and hassle with having to water in zones. I'm also excited to get some timers set up so I don't even have to worry about turning them on or off.Setup was okay but a bit confusing, especially when it comes to setting the stops. The left stop isn't "settable" per se. You just rotate the sprinkler when you're putting it in the ground to set this. However, if you rotate in a certain way, you could start unscrewing the base, which would cause leaking. It took me a bit to figure out why mine was leaking so bad until I noticed this. The right stop is much easier, and you just use a key to rotate a stop marker on the top.The Y-splitter included, as others have mentioned, is very cheap and plasticy. I'm not sure it will work. Additionally, I had written to the company that makes these (before I realized where my leaking was coming from), and they have yet to write back. Not good customer service.

Game changer for the DIY person
Only dislike is they seem to be a little expensive, but this is a great product and as more manufacturers copy this design the price will come down. If anyone concerned about functionality, do not be. I purchased 2 and will be purchasing more. I set up on the edge of my flower bed (2 of them), ran a hose under mulch, quick connect each one , adjusted and off they went. On the edge of flower bed overlooks my front yard so this application worked out well!

These are great!
When we bought our house, there was no irrigation system. Our yards (front and back) were essentially a dirt pit. We didn’t have the money to install a system, so I picked up a few of these and a good hose timer. These worked perfectly for our new seed. Easy to install and adjust, and they require little maintenance. The manufacturer recommends you blow these out every winter, but I’m a little lazy when it comes to that. We live in Colorado, and the winters can sometimes be frigid. However, even after a few -20 days, these never had a problem with freezing and breaking. The only time I’ve had to replace them is when I stupidly ran over them with the lawn mower. Just make sure to disconnect your hose them when you mow (and for the winter months, of course).

sometimes works well
I have several of these sprinklers. Once you get used to the instructions, installation is not a big problem. Adjustment can be tricky though. I just don't like how some of mine won't spray that far. It is as if something is stuck inside. Also, the attachment is not easy. I also have the RainBird buried sprinkler. The RB is harder to install, but easier to adjust. The hose attachment on RB is easier.

An amazing alternative to tons of digging
15 minutes to dig, 5 minutes to dial it in, and I was done. Amazing.I wanted a conventional in-ground system, but I have a situation where all of my water access is covered by concrete, and would’ve been super costly just to get a supply line going. That’s before all the trenching and fighting roots, risking killing my old trees, running into who knows what else in the ground. This is an excellent alternative if you don’t mind running some hoses. You can easily adjust the angle of coverage, and the distance it goes, more or less to your liking, with one catch: if you push to the upper end of the distance range, it turns to a spout and doesn’t drop much water in the first ten feet or so. I didn’t need that much throttle, and dialed down it’s got solid coverage. So, great for me but a warning for others.A note on digging: I dug the first hole with a garden spade, which wasn’t too bad, but these sprinklers are about the depth of a full shovel, so for the second one I just did two facing deep plunges, making an “eye” shape (see pictures) of dirt to lift out in one go, and that’s pretty much all the digging I needed. Much faster.I have a 50’ x 25’ plot of grass to cover, and just one of these almost does the trick. I’ve installed two and it’s got thorough coverage now, so I am returning the extra pair I originally bought assuming I’d need them. This is such a dream- no more dragging wet hoses and sprinklers around or missing spots in my lawn. If you’re in my situation or just don’t want to trench a whole system in, buy these. I’ll never use a conventional sprinkler again.
