Surprisingly good quality for the money
Having recently moved house I was after a replacement tap for the kitchen sink that wouldn’t cost a fortune and this one certainly fits the bill.I am likely to be replacing my whole kitchen next summer but the tap that came with the kitchen . Apart was awkward to use as the outlet part was too low and I dislike having to fill the kettle at an awkward angle when the outlet is too low. The high shape of this tap is exactly the shape I wanted.The base of the tap is very solid. The gooseneck arc is quite tall so that the outlet is quite high which I like.The only part of this tap I have any concerns about at all is the under the sink base connector nut – see pics. It screws into the base of the tap and holds it to the underside of the sink - not sure what to call it. This parts seems a little lightweight in my view but currently it seems to be holding fine. If it comes loose with use, I’ll update my review.The metal braided hoses are exactly the same as the ones already on my current tape making the switch simple.The fitting instructions are ok, as ever, you could always do with more detail but they were sufficient to get the job done quickly enough.Overall, the tap seems to be very good quality for the money and I can’t find another that’s actually any better without costing a huge amount of money.
