A simple yet effective tool.
I've been using this for about a year now and it has been a great help in building finger strength, endurance, and independence when playing cello. The multiple sets of springs will come in handy when tailoring the resistance to your hand's specific qualities. For example, i use the harder red springs for my first three fingers and the lighter green spring for my pinky at first. I find the fine adjustment screws to not be sensitive enough to matter much unless you increase it by quarters. The key to your success with this tool will be how you use it. If you focus on individual finger movement and failure sets with good form then you will see improvements in your playing.

Finally, one that doesn't hurt the hands/fingers, but as others have stated, it is a bit easy...
Most other finger strengtheners I've tried hurt the fingers and/or hands because of their poor/cheap design. This one is actually quite comfortable compared to others. However, even with the higher tension (red) springs installed and the tension dialed to maximum, there isn't much of a challenge here, with the exception of the pinky. And I'm not some big strong guy or anything. Just an average dude that has what I consider average grip strength for someone of my size (5'10", 190 lbs).So yeah, great design and comfort, but if you want to challenge all of your fingers, you'll somehow need to find some heavier tension springs or a different strengthener altogether.

Seems to be helping
This product is living up to the advertising. After only a little more than a week, I’m noticing an increase in hand and finger strength. There was some stickiness with the buttons but a little plastic safe lubricant fixed that. Its very versatile and easy to carry around. I use it when I’m driving, at bible study or just relaxing. No regrets about this purchase.

Verify its new
This is a great product if you get a new one. Had to send some packages back as they were clearly opened and used. Sometimes you’re missing the additional set of springs or the card with bonus points for Daddario club. That being said, once I received my new product it was great for finger exercises and well packaged with a points card. Jumping back into guitar after several years, this was the boost I was looking for.

Musicial Artist or Autist, it works
Are you a guitarist looking for a way to build hand strength and dexterity? Buy it. Are you an autistic dude looking for a great socially acceptable fidgety stim toy? Buy it.Are you an autistic guitarist looking for a stim toy that also builds hand strength and dexterity? BUCKLE UP COWBOY, THIS'LL MAKE YOU CREAM YOUR JEANS.I should have bought one of these things YEARS ago. Hot diggity dang.

The cheaper original version is better
The media could not be loaded. Simply put, I have the cheaper original version that sells for $15, and it’s better. The PRO version comes with 2 sets of springs. The green set that comes installed is a joke and the red ones that are stronger got installed immediately. I guess, if you’re using this for rehab like I am, maybe the really weak green springs would be useful if you have zero hand strength and just had hand surgery or something… the original version is harder to use on the lowest setting. The PRO version makes a bunch of squeaky noises and the handle (which is bigger) is oddly not as comfortable. If you have massive hands like you can’t find gloves at the regular people store then maybe get the PRO version, for all of us normal hand sized people who can find gloves at the regular stores, get the original version. After getting the other one that I like better my hands don’t get cramped as much when typing. I play with it for Maybe 3 minutes on each hand at night and that’s really helped my hands feel better. I bought this pro version so I could take one to work as a fidget toy at my desk but I’m disappointed I don’t like it as much as the original design. Now you know.
