Very nice. It's a perfect mix between the quality of a tool knife, and the style of an Asian made knife. Didn't come very sharp, but a whet stone made quick work of it. When I opened it, there was still oil on the blade, but it came off easily with a wet paper towel. Very sturdy, and the hardening is good. The saw tip is a bit short for anything serious, but is very sharp and works well. Handle is rubber, and a little chunky, but is still fairly comfortable. The cross guard is as thick as the blade, and is mounted firmly, like everything else. It's surprisingly light weight, despite its size, but to me it doesn't indicate low quality. Over all very happy, and would definitely pay more than $18 for it.

This is a great knife for novelty And conversational piece .. That is what I expected and that is what I got.. Anyone that thinks you're gonna get a real honest-to-God Survival knife For $17 .. Has got to be extremely! Naive. Or maybe 12 years old .. Would I keep it is part of my collection Maybe show it to some my Friends Heck yes.... Would I love myself to be dropped iPhone in the middle of nowhere in the wilderness With a $17 survival knife Yeah I don't think so! To the guide it was cutting up ribs with it I suggest you go to Amazon cutlery section I get a proper MEAT Cutting knife.

pretty bad ass low/quality steel Knife, for the price this is worth 100%, cheap and like Jungle survivor knife. i got it just for collection, RAMBO STYLE KNIFE xD

I got this for my sister who's boyfriend isn't fond of her with large cutty things. She may or may not be a tad clumsy. Man you should have seen the look on his face when she opened this a present. Priceless.

I rarely review......but this knife deserves comment. this is the best knife value ($20) I have found to date. The steel is stainless.....the design is perfect for various survival situations...smart finger guard...and a large rubber handle. The only drawback was that it's handle's edges were too square. This uncomfortable feel was rectified with a 80 grit 1" sanding wheel and some 150 grit sandpaper to taper the edges.. Now it has become my favorite knife of choice to take camping. Who needs an axe, a saw or machete ?

I got one from my friend in Oregon a while back and moved to Florida where I had to leave it behind. Seeing it here made me very happy and I immediately bought it. I love everything about this blade from durability to sharpness. Its perfect for me. Thank you for giving me a second chance to hold this blade.

Gorgeous product. Medium in size compared to my other machetes. Easy to store and pack. This beauty looks and feel of great quality. Very sharp upon arriving. It looks like something you would see in a warrior movie. I adore and admire the simple yet; interesting design. I'm in love with my survival machete!
