This is one of the best Japanese inventions for spices! It's easy to use and add extra flavors to your dishes.

I first was introduced to this seasoning 16 years ago when we hosted a Japanese student for a year while she was taking ESL classes at a local college. At that time she told me it was her favorite seasoning and that she would be lost without it. It is more than a finely ground salt and pepper mixture. It provides a mild umami flavor that I have come to embrace in much of my cooking. It truly lends that "little something" to whatever you are making without having an overpowering presence. I love it soups, stews, casseroles, vegetables, roasts, and more. I always have an extra container in my pantry so I never run out. Don't be surprised if you get asked what your secret ingredient is.

I love using this on just about anything! Great in scrambled eggs and making Chinese Salt & Pepper Prawns. Add a bit of jalepeño to make it spicy. Such a delicious seasoning.

I love this combo spice, has finely ground black, white pepper, salt and flavor enhancer.I use this for just about everything, just give the food a nice umami flavor.Have been using this for quite sometime.

really really good for pretty much anything except ice cream lol. very fine seasoning as well, you dont need alot either. looks like it will last a long time as well. will definetly purchase again
