Seaside Stranger Vol. 1: Umibe no Étranger

I’ve read a lot of Boylove manga. It usually includes situations that are horrible and they’re glossed over. You won’t find that here! This is such a wholesome BL manga. The anime was lovely and it matched it to a T. I can’t wait for the second volume. Also, the manga feels great in your hands! Such good quality

Any fan of the genre will love this tale. It's a lovely example of found-family, growing up, and young love that takes its time to grow.I consider this to be unique to its genre with its acceptance and delicate exploration of sexuality, not only through the eyes of Mio and Shun, but through their two coupled friends- the sweet Eri and Suzu.As for the art, you'll be hard-pressed to find better. Kanna Kii was an animator before diving into the manga world, and it shows. Her characters and backgrounds are truly gorgeous, and the emotion she can project through expressions is impressive to say the least.I'm very much looking forward to reading more, and watching these two grow up and strengthen their relationship even further.If you're as happy as I am that this has gotten an English release, please support the artist and buy it! Let's show these publishers that BL is as profitable as it is beautiful. :) Thanks for reading.

I heard about this manga from a friend and it did not disappoint what so ever. I found art wonderful and honestly stunning and pleasing to look at. The two lead characters are extremely likable and they have a wonderful charm to them. The story is really well done and I was smiling during the read. I can’t wait to buy volume two soon. I can’t wait to read more with these characters and where their live may go next.

I accidently found this manga, but I fell in love with story from the very first page. Heartwarming story about how Shun and Mio built a close relationship. First volume is a great start for a great story. Of course, I bought the second and third volume and I will buy the fourth volume too. <3

This manga was so cute!!! I saw the movie first, so when I heard the manga was coming out too I literally lost it! 🥺🥺I recommend this book so much! It’s a bl story :3

the art is super charming and pretty, I read it a while ago online but I'm so glad to have a physical copy now. Adorable and definitely recommend

This is such a good manga, focusing on the budding relationship between Mio, a young man who has lost both his parents, and Shun, who has been disowned by his family due to coming out as gay. It's a very sweet story, with lots of heart and tender moments, as well as a spicy moment that caught me off guard to say the least!My only negative point (and it isn't even really a negative) is that there are a couple time skips that aren't mentioned as a heading, however this doesn't impact the read through.I believe there is a film adaption also, but I wanted to read the manga to see what it was like first and I am not disappointed in the least, it's adorable. :)

I absolutely love this bl so much it’s such a comfort for me being mlm myself. The art is so beautiful and their relationship feels so real and wholesome, unlike reviews I’ve heard from bls that aren’t as good, I’m not really great at reviews, but kii kanna is definitely one of my new favourite manga artists. The book is so small and cute I can’t wait to buy vol 2 <3

De longe um dos BLs mais fofos e aconchegantes que tem. Apesar de eu achar o ritmo desse primeiro volume um pouco acelerado, ainda sim tem um romance muito comovente e saudável. E a continuação (Harukaze) só melhora, vale muito a pena. A qualidade da impressão é ótima, pelo menos para um mangá de $14.

Mangá BL leve, apesar das partes trágicas das histórias dos personagens, as outras partes são muito legais, mangá recomendado. Já estou no aguardo do segundo volume.
