Seaside Stranger Vol. 2: Harukaze no Etranger Paperback – 15 Feb. 2022

Arrived in good shape, story is very cute and heart warming. I really recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre and honestly it is a good read😻🫶🏽

This follows Shun and Mio as they travel to Shun's home as his father is sick and he has been asked to come home.There is a twist in this request, but I won't spoil it. :)Both Shun and Mio are great characters, with a sweet relationship and the way they interact with each other shows how much they are growing in confidence with each other. There is a couple spicy scenes in this manga, but it is by no means all this manga is about, it focuses predominantly on the relationship between the pair, what happens when Mio meets Shun's family and so on.I eagerly await Volume 3! :D

O mangá chegou após a previsão inicial, mas nada que afete a confiança na Amazon. Em relação ao conteúdo físico o mangá segue o estilo preto e branco com desenhos de qualidade. O conteúdo-enredo posso dizer que é a continuação de Umibe no etranger, sendo que, no início fiquei um pouco confuso, mas depois que entendi a história do enredo gostei da colocação dos escritores, enfim, história legal, vale o mangá, havendo inclusive mais cenas “quentes” que o primeiro, além de mostrar um pouco mais de cada personagem. Mangá BL legal, recomendo.

Shun's spontaneous decision to bring his boyfriend Mio home to meet the family was touching, but their love is tested by a road trip/homecoming in which nothing goes right. As the obstacles mount and the family turns out to be very different from the one we expected, we learn that Shun wasn't entirely honest about why he left home in the first place.This volume reads more like an art house comedy than a BL manga, and it's all the stronger for it. Kii, whose richly detailed drawings were perfect at depicting the lush flora and languid rhythms of life on the boys' island, is just as adept at depicting the bustle of crowded Tokyo and the spooky, dilapidated shop on Shun's family estate, where the boys wind up spending much of their time. Kii is unparalleled in her ability to draw sex scenes that evoke the charming awkwardness of real life sex. It's another winning installment in a series you can't afford to miss.

I read this book after watching the movie and reading the first book. I'm not disappointed. I'm glad the author has made it possible for us to look at Mio and Shun's journey after the first book. They're probably my favourite yaoi couple because of how realistic their story is. I hope the author keeps writing and publishing these amazing books.
