You might have to modify it, the buckle wrecks an otherwise decent belt!
Long-Term review:I've had this belt for 3 years now, and it's had daily wear the whole time.I do a lot of automotive work where it's absolutely imperative to NOT have a belt with a buckle that will scratch a customers paint on their vehicle, and my trusty old CINTAS scratchless belt was showing its age, so I bought this one to replace it - and and almost immediately sent it back as soon as I opened the package!Observation #1 - After opening it, I definitely liked the thick strip of leather the belt is made from, and a very nice quality finish in black (still great to this day!) but the overarching BAD issue this belt has immediately reared its head the moment I tried it on... The belt buckle holes in the belt itself, are WAY TOO LARGE for the buckle's "teeth" and the buckle (for me, anyways) does not securely set into these holes and the result = the belt buckle just kept popping off the moment I did any body motions like twisting or bending over. FAIL.#2 - Leatherman Tool Co. Saves this belt from an immediate return!Yes indeed, the best pocket tool in the known universe has an leather awl! A few minutes of fitting the buckle to where the belt was most comfortable and supportive, and the buckle problem gets solved with some "custom" buckle holes in a significantly smaller diameter, and belt be fixed! You will likely have to do something of the same to achieve a good belt fitment to ones body as well.....#3 - Red Cap needs to fix the buckle clasp to a better design. The buckle clasp is sewn into the buckle and is made of a rather soft steel grade that A: Doesn't fit the punched holes in the belt, and B: Needs to be a bit stronger than what they're using (in my belt at least) on top of fitting securely, because it bends out of shape rather easily (but that Leatherman tool I have will bend it right back into conformity, every time, so far!)...#4 - If you can live with some modifying (if Red Cap hasn't fixed the buckle the problem by now) this belt is great on leather quality and finish, and looks so good that you CAN wear it outside of a work environment setting if you don't feel the need for a separate belt buckle kind of belt, it comes recommended by this reviewer, but with some caveats!

Great belt!
I've had this belt almost 9 years. It's been my only belt that whole time. Almost daily use. Recently one of the tabs broke. I will certainly be buying another. Great belt. Broken tab was my fault. I left it on the floor and stepped on it bending it. More than once. All in all I have been using this same belt for over 30 years. I bought the first one from the snap on tool truck.

good belt but needs improving
Product shipped fast and is well priced. But I wouldn't recommend this belt for a mechanic maybe a sales person. The belt buckle it self is the problem the 2 pronges that are suppose to hook the belt are short and one will come on hook often. I work on cars all day and was hopping this would be a good replacement for my Cornwell No scratch belt.

Bad design
The tabs that go into the holes to keep the belt fastened and secure break off, leaving the belt basically useless. Also, the same tabs have little rubber covers over them that have to be glued on because the fall off all the time and get lost. I need a scratch less belt for work, but I don't want velcro. I thought this was a good option, but I've had to replace the belt every 6 months for the same reasons.. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Holds up under hard use
I bought this belt in 2020. I use it for work and tried other belts like it in the past like snap on and a couple others. I got almost 5 years out of it before one of the hooks broke. I love this belt. Real leather that’s high quality. Just bought me a new one today

My first one lasted over 12 years.
Got my first Red Kap belt through work somewhere around 2012. I have worn it every day for work with a phone/tool pouch and pistol holster hanging on it the whole time. It is still functional, but the stitching on the buckle recently started to fail so I decided to pick up a new one. There is a chance that the buckle can become unhooked if worn too loose or it snags on something while working, but I don't spend a lot of time rolling around on my stomach at work so it has almost never happened. Also it is made in the USA which has become increasingly rare.
