just what I wanted
I have prime so the shipping was free. The garden box is well made and easy to assemble. I have been using it now for 2 years and it still looks good. Would recommend

Best purchase ever
This planter box is great. it does require assembly but it could not be easier. Everything fit together perfectly which, in my experience, is not always the case. It’s Sturdy and looks great. Exactly what we needed for our patio for a small father daughter garden.

Fit and finish is quite good
I bought this Jumbl Raised Canadian Cedar Garden Bed and finally got around to assembling it today. I also purchased a Vigoro raised garden bed from Home Depot this year. Obviously, I can't tell you anything about the longevity of either product at this point as I have yet to actually put my garden beds to use growing plants. However, I can compare my experiences in unboxing and assembling these two raised garden bed units.I like the Jumbl raised garden bed better than the Vigoro in almost every respect. The surfaces on the Jumbl unit are sanded, so I did not have to be nearly as careful while assembling to avoid getting splinters compared with the Vigoro, which had unfinished surfaces. The Jumbl unit has more surface area, so I will be able to grow more plants in it. The aesthetics of the Jumbl unit are nicer than those of the Vigoro, by a lot. The Jumbl unit was quite easy to assemble, and I expect that the screws will likely hold it together well for a long time. I would recommend that you use a power screwdriver for assembly, though (which is what I did). If you were trying to put in all of those screws using only hand tools, it would require a great deal more effort. In contrast, the Vigoro is held together solely by dovetail joinery, with no fasteners of any kind. The fit between the pieces of the Vigoro unit was really sloppy and it was a PITA to assemble because of that. I didn't feel confident that the Vigoro unit would hold together by joinery alone, so I used wood glue on absolutely everything (even though the directions did not call for it). The Jumbl came with a liner. The Vigoro did not. I'm not sure how much that matters. I had weed blocking landscape fabric on hand anyway, so it wasn't really an issue for me. The one aspect of the Vigoro unit that I found preferable to this Jumbl unit was that the Vigoro is a little taller (1 3/4"), which is a slightly better height for working with the plants without bending at the waist. The Jumbl unit was more expensive, although there was an Amazon coupon on it when I purchased it, so the price difference between the two units was less than it otherwise would have been. In my opinion, the Jumbl unit was worth the little bit of extra money.

Good Garden Box Kit, Real Cedar
Overall, I do recommend this cedar raised garden bed kit, and about to order another! My review is based on 7 months of use. As you can see, I’ve customized with a rail for handling and tools, and caster wheels to make it mobile.Benefits: My goal is to grow healthy, clean veggies for the family. The raised bed is a great solution to control the dirt substrate and minimize creepy crawlers. It’s so convenient to have the plants accessible at waist level and not have to stoop low to manage the garden (not risking back pain!).Sturdiness: I got the largest size (72” long) and it is structurally sound. I’ve flipped this thing on it’s side and upside-down many times while assembling and adding caster wheels. The only reason I deducted one star for sturdiness is for the wood: while genuine cedar (smells amazing!), the wood is a little soft, probably because it is fabricated of pieces (aesthetically, it looks interesting with patchwork pattern). Having used this for over 6 months, with a second round of dirt, I can see that the wood panels for the bottom do warp with moisture. I wet the other side and dried them in the sun, which flattened out the boards again. I live in Southern California (Zone 10) where it’s hot and dry, so this should be something to consider if you’re lucky enough to live somewhere where rain isn’t a figment of imagination.Assembly and Materials: Needless to say, it’s easier if you have a power drill, but if you have a range of screwdrivers (Philip and flat), you can get by manually. I used a hammer to get the nails in place before screwing. I’m a small person and was able to assemble this 72x23x30” box by myself, including flipping it upside-down and on its side. The instructions are easy to follow (speaking as someone impatient with instructions). As another reviewer noted, there are so many screws - many of these are for the base boards. I opted to only screw in the outer and middle boards, so that I can remove most of them to clean, which saves some assembly effort while it’s still structurally sound.Optional Materials/Equipment (not included but I found useful): I treated the wood with 2 layers of raw linseed oil (be sure to NOT used boiled linseed oil, which is toxic). This required extra 2 days to dry for each coat. A side panel had a crack in the wood, which I repaired with wood glue and a clamp. I also used wood glue in addition to the screws to strengthen the joints. I added an IKEA rail with S hooks to hang my tools. I also added caster wheels - it was a challenge to find a set that had 2” plates to attach to each leg while being able to support a load weight of at least 400 lbs.Value: I paid full price, which is a good chunk of change but I though was worth it, given this is real cedar and should last 20 years (based on internet research of cedar garden bed lifespan). I had actually designed a comparably-sized garden bed and calculated the cost of cedar to create it. This kit came in cheaper, and even more cost effective with the hardware. However, the wood in this kit is fabricated of pieces rather than whole pieces, so that’s something to consider.Hope this helps! Happy gardening. :)

Cool, little planter box
Great little raised planter box for a porch starter veggie garden. Instructions were easy to read. I will say that I had to use an electric drill to put it together so make sure you have one available. Otherwise, it turned out great. The cedar smell is an added plus.

Excellent product!
I originally purchased two last year and bought a third this year! I'm getting older and love having raised garden beds I don't have to bend down to care for. I'm older but still pretty handy and was able to put these together by myself. I did use a drill with a screwdriver bit to drive the 24 long and sturdy screws. My visitors rave over these, they're beautiful, sturdy and seem like they should last me for years!

So far, so good
Assembly was relatively easy but ideally a two person task. The planter looks attractive and seems very sturdy. Time will tell how it holds up to to weathering and continual use.

Excellent Raised Garden Bed; worth the extra money.
This garden bed was a little more expensive than others I saw on Amazon, and it is worth the money! It is made of very nice quality clear cedar (No visible knots). It is well designed, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. Highly recommended!

assembled easily
Wanted to try growing my own vegetables this year. Only took an hour or so to put together with one minor instruction mishap which we were able to correct. Would recommend for anyone requiring a raised garden bed - which I needed.

Overall good quality for the price but be careful!
This planter looks great and is a good price considering it is cedar. It’s easy to assemble, although you’d certainly want a power drill.I removed one star because it would be nice if all the holes were pre-drilled. In addition, mine came with a serious defect: each leg has two sets of pre-drilled holes at a right angle to each other. The holes are offset so that the screws don’t cross each other… except in one case they weren’t offset. Luckily I noticed before we tried to drive one screw into the side of another! You can see in the photos how the holes aren’t offset, and as a result how the first screw blocks the path of the second.
