Natural grey hair, it brightens my hair and makes so shiny
I am 38 and have an entire head of natural grey hair for about 4 years now. From time to time my hair looses its vibrant punch in the gray hair and looks dull and has a yellow cast to some places mainly the hair around my face. I’ve used purple shampoos before and they all kinda worked but tried milkshake about a year ago and I have to say it’s too notch. It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and glossy and defined removes any sign of yellow. It makes my grey hair pop and I have been true to using this brand every week for the last year. Amazing brand and recommend it to anyone

Soft and without frizz.
My hair remains soft and without frizz for days. This is a great product. Will buy the shampoo also.

Good smell and can be used often
I like this. I’ve tried several different types of purple tinting to remove the yellowing of white hair. It definitely smells better than any of the others, and can be used whenever I wash my hair without turning it actually purple.

Best out there if used correctly
When I lived in AZ a color specialist I went to got me hooked on milk shake silver shampoo & conditioner. I had so much brass & yellow . What will follow may sound like lunacy but trust me. I was taught to once a week do this1. Wash hair with Biolage ultra clean ( don’t use a clarifying shampoo) for 5 minutes if you have short hair and 10 Minutes if you have long hair.Leaving a hair product like shampoos & conditioner just sit on your hair does absolutely nothing. You must scrub, rub , massage or whatever you want to call it. If you have long hair section it and rub between your hands.Rinse out with cold water2. Repeat same with milk shake shampoo . Same way. Only if you have long hair you may want to rub in for 15 / 20 minutes just don’t let it sit on your hair.Rinse with cold water3. Milk shake conditioner. Same way . As long as it’s in your hair scrub it in.I have a pixie cut and I do each step for 5 minutes except 3 I do for 15 . Obviously I don’t have any lengthMy hair was free of brass & yellow the first time my stylist did this to me. And it sure does help to have someone do it for you. When I moved to FL I could not find milkshake anywhere. I found someone I liked to cut my hair so the 2nd time I went in I brought milk shake and she followed what I asked her to do. She also was amazed and now carries milk shake line and she recently reported to me that her clients are thrilled.

Immediate results
Not worth money but is highly pigmented so it will definitely look more ashy after your first wash but it makes your hair dry and scalp itch

Easy to use, not sticky, helps tame frizzy silver hair.
This was recommended by others with silver hair. I love it. It delivers anti-frizz and shine to dry hair.
