Loved this hat, it is so cosy, I would be a large in hats and many I buy are too tight. This one is so soft and cosy. The light is bright, I turn it back to front in daylight so the light is hidden at back of neck.

The review that follows is my original review, which I edited as I could not get the light unit to recharge, however embarrassing to admit, it was actually my charging plug that was at fault, and when I plugged it into my laptop, it charged up perfectly. I'm mentioning this before the rest of my rave review as if you experience a similar problem, do double check your charging unit, and maybe try a different charging device, so here it is,,,, What a brilliant hat, it does exactly what it says, with a good strong light, like your own personal main beam. I live in the country, in one of those rare no light pollution places, which is fabulous, but when there is no moon at all, it gets a bit sketchy negotiating your way down the path, well this beanie has totally solved the problem, it does the job perfectly. I like the quick recharge feature, you just pop the light out from the back , pull off the weatherproof usb cap and plug it in, so simple, no fuss, and extremely practical.It has 3 light density settings too. The beanie itself is very well made, it is comfy to wear and a decent size. This is a must, no more faffing around with torches at night, just pop on the beanie. Love it, fab purchase.

Brought this for a friend working in construction. Great for the winter months, warm and effective with lighting as it gets darker in the winter earlier on. Would recommend.
