Not as shiny. You need a clear coat to get it to match exactly. Its a good color match otherwise.

Q: would i be able to color black soles red with this?

Maybe but I don’t think it will look good. I think this is meant to touch up already red bottom shoes. It covers scuff marks on red bottoms really well but I don’t think it would work to cover black soles. Sorry!
