I would take photos, but I'm afraid my toes would horrify everyone, and get me banned from further reviews. But I love these clippers. They're heavy-duty, and if they can take care of my toenails, they can take care of anyone's. I have been resorting to some wire cutters from my toolbox, but that's painful since that's a straight cut and not curved. So now I can be more civilized despite my caveman toes. I read previous reviews before I purchased, and true to form, this is a great clipper set! This trimmer is excellent for trimming thicker nails, and yes it is sharp. Just take your time, and have good lighting. I'm SO pleased with how well it works; compact, ergonomic design. As as ex-nurse, I cleaned them after I was done, with alcohol on a q-tip. Let dry, of course. Money well spent!

It is really hard to cut toenails as you get older. I have trouble bending. Even though I bought the ones that said they had longer handles, they didn't seem long enough to help much. That is why they only got a 4. Now for the positive. My toenails are very tough and thick. The jaws on these open wide enough to get around the edge of the toenails so I was able to cut them. These are sharp but my nails are so tough I had to press down a couple of times to get them cut. Note: I did not soak the nails first which is supposed to help. I will do that next time. They did cut the nails. i have tried several clippers, but these did do the job. I really wish the handles were longer.

Received on time and in good condition. Like these nail clippers...they open about twice as wide as my old clippers, which works for my old toe nails...the offset handle makes using easier. Like the lock feature on the handle...makes for easier storage. Would recommend.

The item works great. The Amazon service not so great. Ordered Thursday to be delivered Friday. Stated that driver should ring the doorbell. Item did not arrive 'til Saturday evening and driver did not ring doorbell.

I cannot believe I waited this long to finally purchase a good quality toe nail clipper. It stood the test for the thick toe nails for sure. Just be very careful because the stainless steel metal is very very sharp. The clipper came with a great emery board and a nice little pouch to keep them both together. I probably should order a couple more for future.

Be Careful; please. I was overzealous in cutting and had to back off. No question they do the job extremely well. If in question, use the file.

These are great, but with one issue I can't imagine a nail that they won't cut. The issue is that the radius is too tight for toe nails. I measured ot at about 7/8". I'd rather it be about 1" or even straight across. It's easier to file in a radius than to blend short cuts together. Still the best clipper I've ever had..
