Oypla 120cm Colour Changing LED Water Bubble Fish Novelty Lamp

We bought this for our boy who has autism and it’s a permanent fixture in his room. I can’t say on whether it helps his insomnia, we’ve placed a mirror next to it for more effect. Really lovely lights which constantly change and you can increase the bubble effect which is useful when the plastic fish get suspended at the top and sometimes near the bubble bit. There’s no remote control, it comes with three pin plug mains and a pack of plastic fish that you’ll need to submerge in hot water before adding them to the tank. The tank does require distilled water but you can use tap water with salt instead. This does require a few trips to the sink to pour water from a large jug. The tube is made of thick plastic and the top is secure-its a pull top, not a screw one I learned after a few annoying attempts! There is a humming sound but you get used to it and really it’s not that loud but you know it’s there.The only thing I’d recommend is to change the base, perhaps widen it a little and add a control for the colourful lights as some may not like changes in lights.

Pleased with product, I know it states you can use tap water but I used de-ionised water, it doesn't grow mould and prolongs life of lamp. Needed 7.5 litres. They sell 2.5 litre jacks of the water in Asda at 1.00 a jack I bought 3 which wasn't expensive. I also bought some extra fish and jelly fish. Looks lovely, little noisy but I don't mind that so very happy with product.

Nice item, a bit noisy, my grandson aged 3 was happy with it, colourful, easy to set up, glad I'm tall.

This was bought for a birthday present for my Wife .we had one many years ago and she said a while ago she would like anotherIt arrived in plenty of time from the carrier.It was well packaged and easy to set up.Follow instructions on preparation of the plastic fish it's important. The lamp is excellent colours are soothing and contrary to some reviews it is not noisy .My wife loves the lamp it's very soothing and calming. The only very small problem was one broken fish ie had no tail But contacted Oypla great customer service and they arranged a small refund to purchase more fish.That was great communication via email .I would highly recommend this lamp the colours and also the fish are so much better than the ones we used to have I believe its a great price too. I bought this for my autistic child 4 months ago, when it turned up we were really excited and everything way great, it worked a treat. However 4 months on and we can no longer turn it on in the house because it now makes a lot more noise than when we bought it. To be clear it has not been damaged but it sounds like it has shaken itself loose.There is no way you can sleep through it. You can even hear it from downstairs when trying to watch the tv. Shame really because visually it is brilliant but just too noisy. I would not buy another one as this is not an isolated case having read other product reviews.

I brought this lovely bubble tube on the 4th July 2020 for my wife as a present as she seems to like them! Last night 22nd Aug 2020 the tube just split at the bottom and flooded our bedroom!! I read n reviews that this happened to someone else!! But stupidly enough I bought it anyway!! I just thought it’s not gonna happen to me, boy was I wrong!! I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy one, I’m just saying just think about it before you buy!! And I’m not even putting the blame on the seller I would buy again from this seller!! Perhaps not a bubble tube cuz he/she gave a speedy services!! As this has happened to 2 customers now I think it’s down to the manufactures NOT the seller!! It’s a shame realy as it was a nice one! In case you do deside to buy one I must say to get the fish to go up n down you gotta have it almost turned up to full and it’s very Loud plus the vibrations coming from it is unbelievable you can feel the vibrations on the floor!! To seller I’m sorry I had to change my review as this problem has just come up!! And I don’t blame you personally for what happened, as this is the second time this has happened I’m guessing the manufactures must of had a batch of faulty ones!!
