Shuttles are great for size 10 thread
I liked the size of the shuttle, for it works good with size 10 thread and winding more on to the shuttle than the clover shuttles. Which is great for doing Renulek doilies so I won’t have to add thread if I run out like I would with clover shuttles. I have yet to see how well it would be for size 20 thread, but I think the thinner threads would be better with the clovers. The tiny crochet hook is better to use with the thinner threads like 40 and 80. At moment i am working on a size 80 snowflake and the hook is perfect size. Oh! And the pick on the shuttle is much better than clover shuttles, easier to pick out the knots! Bead needle have yet to try but nice to have. Great price for great quality!

Good price for a set
These tatting shuttles work fine, and it’s nice to have enough for several projects at once. The crochet hooks are a nice bonus. The shuttles are three inches long, as advertised, which is like the older Boye plastic one that I have (I prefer a shorter shuttle). The transparency makes it easier to see how much thread is left in the shuttle. The package came quickly.

Ass expected.
They work well enough. Great to teach a group of tatters.

Perfect shuttles
These are some of the best shuttles I've used. I bought 16 shuttles and not one had any flaws! They are super lightweight and sturdy. Best thing in my opinion is the pick; it's wonderfully sharp. I have no troubles pulling threads through very small joining picots. I checked all of mine and the ends where the 2 sides meet are all nice and tight so no unwinding if I drop the shuttle. The size is the same as larger Clover brand shuttles if you are familiar with those. These don't have the gripper ridges in the middle that other post shuttles have, but I've not had any trouble holding and using them. The colors are amazing & bright; I admit I love the black & red ones best. It's also nice with the clear that I can see just how much thread is on the shuttle.Picture 1 has the blue shuttle from this seller and a small Clover (pink) for size comparison.Pictures 2 & 3 are the black shuttle so you can see what the shuttles are like.

One Week Use Review from Daily Tatter and Great Dane Owner (this does matters...)
The last of my beloved Starlit shuttles bit the dust and I simply wasn't in the mood to make the 'free shipping' minimum from the shop so I took to 'zon to fill the need. I knew I wanted a post center and a pick tip (not a hook) because I used the Starlit's pick for a picot gauge, unfortunately there were no shuttles comparable to my Starlit's size for my not-dainty hands, but this variety had a reasonable price and fair ratings & reviews. I took the chance and I've been fairly impressed with them so far. quick to wind, adequate thread load, sturdy build, and fast delivery. My Great Dane is a 1.5yo puppy and is still in-training for service dog work, so my tatting supplies have made regular appearances but not sitting left out at the moment. But since these weren't my Starlits, she was immediately introduced to them and she's been learning to pick them up if I drop them or find if I misplace them, etc. They've fared very well in my girl's mouth and from being dropped on tile flooring and concrete floors repeatedly. They tat wonderfully, though, again, not for the not-so small handed amongst us crafters. If y'all got the chunky monkey fingers, like me, you're going to fumble with threading these and your hands take a bit of time to get used to the smaller size if you're used to using a larger size shuttle like Starlit. They do hold less thread, obviously, but enough to do a snowflake in size 20 thread. The beading needle! A lot of folks have had issue with this in the reviews and I have to explain this. We have different varieties of beading needles. These are actually standard seed bead needles (also called "big eye needle"). To find the eye, you used your fingernail or the pick of the shuttle, to separate the pieces of metal wire that are held together at the ends. You can also move the ends towards one another similar to a finger trap puzzle.I've included both a comparison photo of twisted wire beading needles to the seed bead needle and a photo displaying the big eye of the seed bead needle. Also among the photos are a comparison photo of Starlit shuttles to Butuze shuttles with a standard 3x3 sticky note, an in progress shot of one of the purchased shuttles, and an in action photo of the seed bead needle loading beads onto some 勾乐 20 weight thread (marketed as golo on Amazon). In the end, I'm probably going to replace these when they eventually bite dust - with the same product. They're great for making jewelry pieces, but I'm not attempting any of the Renuleks with these just because I hate hiding thread joins and I know there would be many.I hope this was helpful for someone.

Good shuttles for great price.
(The pink shuttle in the second photo is my Clover shuttle, and the blue is one from this set.)This is a pretty good set of shuttles for the price, especially since I was able to get 10 for roughly what I pay for two when buying brand name. It's quite a bit bigger than the Clover shuttles I have, though works just as well. Because of the size, I am excited to see how it will handle a beaded project. The pick is nice and sharp without being in the way, and has been good for joinings and undoing mistakesThe only drawback I've found so far is that it has absolutely no grip, and so it can be harder to hold onto if I'm tatting quickly. That being said, I've put a bit of masking tape on it and that has helped a bit.Overall, these are a good set of shuttles.

Like Clover shuttles, but bigger.
Smoothly finished, longer & wider than Clover, but same post length. They have the same satisfying click as thread passes through the tips, and the pick is long and sharp like Clover, too. I am very happy with these as well as the included fine crochet hooks. Two thumbs up!

SIZE OF A MOONLIT from handy hands.
Arrived quickly. All intact however one ill have to rubberband and put in hot water to fix the space. They have a dent where others have little grip ridges. Haven't tried them out yet. Pick is very pointed and sharp. 👍Update......Frankly these have just nudged past my dreamlits as favorite. The pick being very stabby is very handy and didn't take long to get used too. It also doesn't snag at all like a dreamlit hook. ❤️ Ordered another set last night. I'm always taking my work with me and attached to the ball is a pain in the tush at doctors appts etc. Now I'll be able to keep a bunch loaded ready to go without spending a fortune. At a break down of a buck a piece? Can't beat it. Bonus...is the tiny Guage crochet hook, bead perfect.
