The 1000w Unit Heats 3 gallons in 15 minutes
I have a 20 foot motorhome that has a shower; however, to use the hot water I need to run my gas generator. To circumvent this, I have an Ecoflow delta that powers all of my electronics, and I can use it to heat my shower water. I purchased the 1000 watt version of this unit and it heated 3 gallons of water in 15 minutes while it was 60 degrees in my RV. It starts off at 1012 watts but it drops down at times to around 575 watts.Prior to this, I was using an electric hot plate where I heated the same amount water and it took 60 minutes. The verdict is, it does the job but certainly in a longer timeframe than expected. Considering the price and my previous alternatives, I recommend this unit.

Warms water just as it should!
I use this for heating water for a couple of miniature horses in there shed. I heat water in a 5 gallon bucket then divide it into their drinking buckets. I wish I had bought it at the beginning of winter !!!

Great for heating water for a camp shower
I bought this to heat up 3 gal or 5 gal bucket of water to take a shower, while camping. It does use a lot of wattage, but for a relatively short period of time. I hooked up to the Ecoflow power station that I have or to the 2000W pure sine wave inverter that I have hooked up to the alternator (to recharge the Ecoflow more quickly). Of course if you were at a campground with power outlets, you could just plug it in there. But it seems to work great and can heat a 5 gal bucket of water in 10 min or so. Of course I could boil water instead, but is quick and easy. Just drop it in the water and it heats it up and to very hot if you want. I just get it warm enough for a shower and unplug it, so i don't use up extra power. But I can recommend this item, from my experience using it.

Disappointed ☹️
I had read that you could heat a small swimming pool or as some say paddle pool with this heater, it even showed the pool I was trying to heat in the advertising. Ok, so my grandkids were not fond of playing as swimming in this size pool with 4 kids is impossible in cold water. One thing I had read was to use black garbage bags on the surface of the water 💦 when the sun was shining. I tried that, and it did warm it up some, but only on the surface. Once the water was stirred up it was cold 🥶 again. So back online for more suggestions I went. This heater was rated well for heating up a pool so I tried it, it wasn’t really expensive. We got 2 saw horses and a stick and laid it across the middle of the pool. It did start to heat it put kept shutting off. We think 🤔 it wasn’t meant to be used with an extension cord. I then tried it in a bucket 🪣 and plugged it into an outdoor outlet and it did heat up the water in the 5 gallon bucket, but not in minutes. So what to do. I suppose maybe next year I could use the black garbage bags and the heater with multiple buckets and see if that doesn’t ruin my back as I am 61 years old grandma, trying to make summer fun for the grandkids. Or maybe 🤔 they will have to toughen up and swim in the cold water like I did when I had swimmingly lessons at our town pond in central Wisconsin at the end of May right after the ice melted. We would come out of the water blue, but I got as far as Junior Life Saving and I could save someone that was drowning if I had to. I think it would work if maybe I invest in a better extension cord or put the pool on my deck that is the same size as the pool because that’s where the outlet is or maybe just take them to the lake or local swimming pool when this pandemic is done, when ever that will be. Happy 😃 paddling.

Gets Hot, No Ground Wire
This thing gets hot fast, and it's hilarious the instructions say to plug it into a properly grounded outlet, when it's a two-wire groundless device.

Garden tub
Works great. Keeps garden tub warm since it cools down way to fast. Reading reviews of others… follow directions for use. No hot tub, not for winter use. Keep heating elements submerged to work. Simple!

Worked great until it didn't.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this Dec 11, 2021 to go inside my 46-gal Basalt water fountain over winter. Worked great and even had the water steaming some mornings in sunlight (looked amazing) and generally kept the water temp around 80°. I'm writing this review Jan 28, 2022 and the heating coil seemed to have burned through completely. The past couple days I realized the water temp was bordering 32° and figured something was wrong. Pulled it out and you can refer to the photos attached. Not sure what I could have done differently as it only sat in one spot to ensure the water didn't freeze and it worked perfectly. Luckily it malfunctioned such a small window I can return for a full refund.I won't get bent out of shape, but I did hope that it would have lasted at least the entirety of 1 winter in Salt Lake.Temp control worked amazingly, the price was great for the purpose it served. My only issue is that I wish it lasted longer. If you buy this you may get lucky and have it last for years on end, I just wasn't in the lucky bunch!

Fantastic Bucket Heater
I heat up 3 buckets of water a day. Can get to 180 F. I have tried others,This is the best one by far. It does need a 20 amp circuit. I like that is UL listed.
