When I can, I may add a picture to show you how well it catches even small bits of crumbs and food that could go down your drain and create a clog. I've had a lot of trouble with my drain for the past 5 years. I bought the house and noticed the poor construction where the P-trap went into the wall and out from there. They had a T-joint that made clearing any clog next to impossible and a plumber came out and told me that the pipes just past that joint were so clogged I might never get them cleared because even his snake couldn't get far past that T-joint. I had a friend who persevered to the point of breaking one of his snakes, but opening up my line the best it's drained since I moved here over 15 years ago. I determined to buy something that would prevent small particles from going into the P-trap, or anywhere else, where it might create a clog. When it had slowed up a little, I used an entire bottle of Drano-gel , and a small snake to clear it as much as possible. Then I put these two babies in. I could actually SEE the food particles that came out of pots, pans, dishes and even off cutlery and other flatware/silverware. I'm very satisfied and my drains empty smoothly as if they were new. I will keep these on for as long as I can, and then replace them with others, if necessary.

Nothing not to like ,I had used some thinner ones and even went to rubber one which was a big mistake so I decided to go back to stainless steel and these looked very nice 👍

Helps keep my drain clear

These are nice. Fit the bathroom sink, tub, but not sure about the large one. Screen is stainless but flat rim is magnetic. Possibly 304 stainless.

I was really impressed how much these drains catch. Well worth the money.

The reason I gave this 3 stars is because it fit perfectly and it catches everything.However the netting or strainer part caught everything BUT it does NOT clean out or empty.Everything sticks to it.I’m totally ok using a paper towel to wipe it out. But the holes are so small and the netting is so sharpe that everything just sticks inside.Threw away and went back to my cheapie rubber one.

These strainers fit snugly over the sink drain preventing particles from bypassing underneath.

Fitted the larger sink hole and surround perfectly and the fine mesh gathered even the smallest bits. Having had the rectangular type with large holes, this looked neat and classy!

It seems odd to review such a mundane kind of product, but I wanted to say something about this one because it is a bit pricey. I hesitated to spend the money as I only needed one sink strainer, and you get two, but I'm glad I went ahead because it's a really good buy. I have had other sink strainers from the dollar store and they have all rusted and warped, but BIGSUNNY keeps on going, looking almost as good as the day I started using it - and in fact, it does look good. Will it last a lifetime, as it says? I don't know, but if it doesn't I have the second one in reserve. Highly recommended!
