Hasbro Star Wars: The Last Jedi Smart R2-D2

This thing is crazy fun. And he’s bigger than I thought. He works in 3 modes and faithfully duplicates the sounds and motions you see in the films. With the app he does more but even without that I really enjoy him. For $18? Get one!

It was not advertised that the app to this does not work and so a large portion of the functions do not work. My child was very disappointed.

I didn't have high expectations for a $20 version; however, this is good value for your money. Don't expect it to be an exact replica, as it is a Hasbro toy, but it is really cool and all the sounds have an authentic quality and volume to them. The app to control its movement is pretty neat. I haven't explored the pre assigned movements yet but the direct controls work pretty good. Only negative would be that they are slightly slow when you transion from one direction to another because R2 has to change the position of his 3 legs. Would definitely recommend buying for your kids or as a gift for a Star Wars fan.

This is very cute and a fun toy! There are games to play as well as the fun of moving him around! It doesn't work for all phones, but it did work for mine. I have a Moto Z Play.

Nice R2-D2! Works fine without the app. Will be able to do more with the app I'm sure. Well made and so far very durable. Makes a great gift for those Star War fans. Thanks!

Got this for my 3 year old but my husband plays with it more lolFor the price it's really neat with lots of cool features - perfect for any Star Wars fan.

We bought this item due to the fact that it was advertised to have a companion app to control the unit. However when you go to download the app, it says it's discontinued. This is pure bait/switch and extraordinarily unethical.

Great and fun. I just bought this. It’s easy to use. The only thing I would say is that it lacks speed. I really think it should move faster. There’s no speed control on the droid or app. Overall it’s very giftable for a kid. But I’d say Sphero is slightly better. It moves faster and you can change the speed of the droid while you use the app.
