Lyman Primer Pocket Uniformer Small Multiple, One Size

Nothing wrong with the product, but it seems that its rarely needed. Only once in a great while I feel some pressure or friction on 223 or 5.56 after swaging. Thought it would be a good edition to the pocket cleaner which doesn't really work near as well as my friends RCBS wire brush pocket cleaner. Anyhow, not sure I would call it a vital tool unless someome can comment on my error.For the record I buy the nastiest used brass and turn it for 300Blk.I have no feeling of primer insert pressure (less) than before I used this tool. Maybe I'm over swaging my mil brass, but 223 seems to rarely need this tool. Maybe thats what its for. Rare occasions.

I had some once fired Winchester .38 special brass. When I went to reload it, I found that many of the primer pockets were high and my primers would not all seat fully. I got this little tool and it worked like a charm

Very well made. It works well but its slow. I would like to get a powered unit but I don't use it enough to justify the cost of a powered unit.

Seems to clean up the bottom of my small primer pockets. I have yet to see if it has any effect on my Ammo performance.

I have enjoyed Lyman's handloading tools for 60+ years.

Bought out of habit: I generally use a primer pocket uniformer to clean my primer pockets on large primers already. Not sure how much I need to uniform the primer pockets for 5.56/223 fired exclusively in an M4, but it's good to have on the bench just in case.

Had to shave a few thousandths off the face to get the correct depth. Would spend a few extra dollars on a Sinclair or an adjustable one next time.
