You have to know how to order the correct size. I didn't.
The inner diameter is 1 1/2". I thought it was going to be 1 1/4" so it is too big for my needs. I guess I was supposed to understand that it is intended to fit onto a 1 1/4" ID pipe that has a certain thickness that adds up to 1 1/2". You have to know about how pipes are measured to get the correct fit and I didn't. I don't know why they can't just list the inner diameter of this item as 1 1/2". Oh well, live and learn
