Q: What is the center to center measurements of the top holes?

3 inches I just walked out and measured it

Q: I'm reviews state that the coupler is a 2" channel, or 3" channel. Product information states that it's a 2 1/2 inch channel. Is it a 2 1/2 channel?

I put mine on a piece of 1/4” x 2” x 6” tube and fit good. Never measured it but know that when I welded it there wasn’t a huge gap I had to fill.
