Hi,The weatherboard is approx 35mm x 60mm and can be fitted either way up.

Hello, the exact measurements are as follows, 900 x 50 x 30 mm. There are also 2 ways this can be fitted, as it's got 2 rebates. Hope this helps?

dont mean too be stupid but im no diy expert , but how do you fix them on the door , can you glue them or do you use tacks.

I drill 3 holes and counter sink them, one about 2 inches in at each end and one at the centre. apply a bead of exterior glue to the reverse, before fixing in place. Hope this helps.

A bit disappointed

Item arrived as described and on time. I appreciate this is a softwood product but given its intend use I think the manufacturer should be more selective with timber choice. The bar I received has a large knot through the weathering face.

Pine and straight …

I got the pine rain deflector for my sun house door. Treated it with Sadolin straight away before fitting, and because it’s pine I don’t expect it to last for ever and besides the sun house is also pine, so long as I take care of both it should last for a few years.
