Is this made of forged aluminum or cast aluminum? And is it made in China?

Forged or cast aluminum are not supposed to be heavy duty in discription! I have used two of them and the nut on top will break if you put too much pressure. But that’s what you need to remove the filter cover. Do you dig! I have ordered a metal one now and I’ll find out if that’s better. Hope this helps you!

Will this work on 2020 tundra 5.7?

Hello. It worked very well on my 2015 5.7 Tundra. Just be careful to not overtighten, and purchase 2, because at some point, usually an inopportune moment, one or more of the grippy "teeth" will break off. NOTE. I drive a LOT....so I do MANY oil changes. I converted to a canister filter which made oil changes MUCH easier!!!
