Incredible knives
All of my Global knives are my favorite out of the ones I own. They have a great weight to them, the handle is sturdy, and they stay sharp for a long time.

If you want a fabulous knife; buy a GLOBAL
Just like all carbon knives, you should have a sharpener. I have several GLOBAL knives. They are the best!

I use it daily and still holds its edge
This knife is balanced, has great ergonomics, and well worth the price for a lifetime food prep tool

Bourdain sent me.
I wanted a medium size knife in stainless, for working with more reactive foods like citrus, but also wanted the ability to chop. I remembered the old recommendation from Anthony Bourdain, and thought I'd look at Global. This one fit the bill, and I've been using it for a few months. The steel is wonderful, takes an amazing edge with a fine diamond stone and keeps that edge for a while. The downside is the handle -- you might like it, you might not, but you won't know until you get your hands on one and use it.My take is that it can get slippery when wet, so I tend to do a pinch grip with three fingers on the blade: thumb on one side, index and middle on the other. I like it enough to keep it, but I'm not sure I'll be buying more of them.

Right sized Chef Knife.
Quickly became the most used knife in the kitchen. I liked an old 12” Chef’s knife but it was too big for my cooking partner. This is “right sized”. Easy to sharpen

great knife
This is my second Global knife. The first one was gifted to me 15 years ago and it still cuts like new. It was a smaller utility knife, and I have been using it daily. I decided to by a bigger knife -- chef's 6 inch. I have used it for a few days now, and I am very happy with it. It's big enough for me to feel the difference when I chop, but not too big for it to weigh heavy.
