AniMed Vitamin E Powder 5# 1250 IU/OZ

we have been ordering the Vit E powder that is made by Kentucky Products (expensive but worth the money if you have health EPM issues) daughters horse had bout with EMP so we use that for him.. recommended 5000 to 10000 units per day for EMP.. My horse is insulin resistant so like to add the Vit E to his diet because he cant eat green grass and we soak his hay ... Like this as its a more cost efficient means to get Vit E to him. it is 650 units per tablespoon (the KP product is 1000 unit per teaspoon so more efficient for the EPM use) its a good alternative for normal nutritional needs

I bought this as I wasn't sure that my horse was actually eating all of the squished/opened capsule of vitamin E that was soaked in his beet pulp. With this powder, I'm more confident that he is getting the vitamin E he needs.

First- The supplement is great, does what I need and at an affordable price point. 5/5 for the supplement itself.Second- 0/5 for customer serviceHalf of my supplement arrived dumped out of the box.I now have to throw out the whole supplement because I don’t know if it has been contained with anything due to arriving open and half of the contents being loose in the box.I will update the review if and when a replacement or refund is issued.Update. I had to file a claim with amazon, due to the the company not wanting to refund or replace. I understand that it isn't necessarily the companies fault and the shipping could be really rough. A replacement or refund is still the right thing to do. Thank you to amazon for fixing the issue.

We add this to our older horses' diet.

My horses eat it moxed in feed. This provides them with needes vitamin e. Easy to use.
