I’ve used this 12 pound line for years. Extremely tough to break. Use it in the bay for trout, reds, etc. Get you a spool!

Works great as backer
I bought this in the orange color specifically for backer on my lead core trolling reels. It has ran on my boat all summer now for Lake Erie Walleyes and performed fine. The orange makes it much more visible out on the planer boards helping keep lines evenly spaced, and even helping to see when fish are on. I respool all my gear every 1-2 years, depending on use, condition, and how line performs. These set ups definitely look like they will be fine for a second year. I fish on average at least 1 trip a week June- September and usually 3-5 person walleye limits per trip, for an idea on the usage the line sees.
