3 spools instead of 1
I received a box of 3 spools instead of just one as the description said. They measure 125 yards each. This makes the price for 3 comparable to what I pay for 3 spools at Michael's Arts & Crafts.Good thread. My Brother machine (the CS6000i) loves Coats & Clark. (Some brand of machines are far pickier about thread.) To sew with metallic thread, reduce your speed, lessen your top thread tension and give plenty of leeway for the spool to unravel. I put mine on the bobbin threader instead of main spool holder. It flows easier that way. I also love Coats & Clark's snap up/down lid for holding the thread end for storage.No this isn't conductive thread. It's meant to be purely decorative. It contains metal strands wrapped around polyester. It really makes your designs pop.

Perfect Match for my project
This thread is the perfect color match to my project, decorating a copper circlet with copper-colored ribbons, beads and leaves. The thread held all additions to the circlet securely (as in being worn for 2 full days at a RenFaire). I was even able to hand wash the circlet without damaging anything that was sewed with this thread.

This is my FAVORITE metallic thread. I like the other colors too, but am partial to the copper. Easy to work with and I don't want to pull my hair out after an hour of working with it! I use it for cross stitch and blackwork.
