amazon basics Polycarbonate Hard 66 cms suitcase (N989_blue)

I am very disappointed with this purchase. Amazon sells this under their brand name; they say that such a product has been rigorously tested and the quality can be trusted. Rather looks like they are using their branding to unload deficient products. After one trip through an automated luggage handling system at a modern large international airport a wheel came off. If you look closely at the photo you will see how the wheels are attached. This method of attachment is clearly sub par. A spinner wheel should also have a bolt through the center. Too bad all around.

Not safe as per safety purposes

I had to leave scandinavia in the morning and made the mistake of opening the box too late. The zip is broken and the seams are coming out. Had to put pins to stitch it up last minute. I really hope amazon takes this product back once I return. I am really dissapointed and do not recommend this bag to any frequent traveller

This is an excellent product with great quality. The wheels are the highlights as they hardly make noice while pulling. I have reduced one star for the weight as the empty suitcase weighs about 4300 grams and you can put about 10 Kgs more for airport check in.

Wanted to buy actually 26 inches trolly bag . But amazon basics doesn’t have that size . Only 3 sizes are available. But most commonly preferred size is not available... I am surprised !!Anyway good quality, wheels are nice ! Not yet used but looks sturdy .

We loved it. The quality is amazingly better than other companies. The only issue is that it does not have an inbuilt lock but that really not a problem. We have even gone on many international trips with it and didn't have to bother about damages and other problem as we can feel its very sturdy.

Great product.Serves my purpose perfectly.Cannot think of any cons.If you are looking for strong, hard body, airport luggage handler durable suticases... This is one choice.The most impressive are the wheels. Strong and smooth. Even when filled to capacity, the rollers run smoothly.Good investment.

I use this suitcase constantly and have carried it on flights, trains, buses, cars, rickety jeeps, etc. across multiple countries and it has remained undefeated. It has been bumped around, thrown around, slid across, etc. and remains in near perfect condition. It is the perfect size to fit enough luggage to meet airline luggage allowance and the suitcase itself is light enough. Paired with packing cubes this is the perfect travel companion. Additionally, the bright orange color ensures that you can spot your suitcase on any conveyor belt.

Hier überzeugte mich dieser Koffer anfänglich sehr (auf den Bildern!). Der Koffer ist keineswegs schlecht. Die Außenschale macht einem soliden und stabilen Eindruck. Ebenso ist die Haltbarkeit des Reißverschlusses zumindest bei mir gegeben. In anderen Rezensionen laß ich über diverse Mängel. Die beiden Gründe weshalb ich den Koffer wieder zurückgesendet habe, sind die minderwertigen Rollen und der mehr als instabile Teleskopgriff. Hier merkt man leider deutlich den Preis und an welcher Stelle gespart wurde. Ich denke nicht, dass diese Plastikrollen lange halten würden. Spätestens bei der ersten Bodenschwelle bricht etwas ab (vermute ich). Der Griff hat viel zu viel Spiel und sobald man den Koffer zieht/hebt fühlt es sich schwammig und instabil an. Schade, denn hätte man diese zwei Punkte etwas besser realisiert, wäre das tatsächlich ein 1a Koffer. Ich möchte keinesfalls vom Kauf abraten. Besellen Sie einfach und sehen Sie selbst, evtl. enspricht der Koffer ja Ihren Erwartungen. Après un an d'utilisation, je peux le dire c'est une très bonne valise !Je ne m'attendais pas a cette qualité pour ce prix.La valise est rigide, solide, pratique et légère.Ses roulettes font le job et elles sont encore toutes présentes et fonctionnelles.La poignée est facile pour la sortir et la ranger car même mes enfants y arrivent.La fermeture éclair aucun soucis elle reste souple. Very disappointing. Purchased in late October of 2017. Looked good on arrival but couldn't hold up during travel. After only 6 flights the handle came off and the front wheel broke away from the case. No longer usable.

Modifica della recensione: dopo averla testata per un viaggio in Giappone di una settimana posso dire che la valigia è robusta e leggera. Le ruote sono fluide anche se leggermente rumorose, la cerniera ottima (anche se manca il lucchetto laterale, ho dovuto munirmi di un lucchetto aggiuntivo). Occhio alle misure però: la versione da 68 cm (taglia M), senza ruote misura esattamente 10cm in meno!!! A sx la valigia Amazon dalle dimensioni errate, a dx la mia vecchia Samsonite tg.L alta 80cm (senza ruote). Tutto sommato una valigia eccellente, robusta, capiente (nonostante le dimensioni dichiarate inferiori), con ottime cerniere esterne ad un prezzo contenuto.

It's a suitcase, it's made my AmazonBasics and it's bright orange. It's tough, it's roomy and you can't lose it easily. It rolls well and it's made by Amazon; I've said that already! Doh...Seriously, for what can be considered as a throw away suitcase, the AmazonBasics Hardside Luggage Suitcase offers amazing value and should be considered seriously if you're happy to purchase a suitcase that isn't going to last a lifetime and does it's designed job well.Personally, I would purchase another if required. I'm happy to abuse mine and replace when required.
