Looking at the overall rating and some reviews, I was not very confident. But when I did the job, I was amazed. It worked like Magic on the windshield of my brand new Jeep Meridian that has a Bulls eye stone chip. The chip did not have much damage on the outer layer of glass, just a spot but below surface it was chipped, almost a 50 paise coin size with small cracks beginning to run out. Post repair, my wife could not immediately figure out where the damage was.Follow instructions properly. I was wondering if the resin would go in due to no hole I could find. Tried a bit to make a hole with a pin : ). But the liquid is very non viscous and I guess easily goes in via minute holes. Post the pressure application step, leave it for 30 mins min. Get curing done in good sunlight.Works better on stone chips. Not sure about long cracks.

Very bad experience with this product

I have seen youtube videos making use of this DIY method to fix windshield cracks and chips. Mine is a spider crack.The entire process is well described in the instruction booklet. And is also available in many youtube videos too. Hence, the biggest effect is the correct execution. If the execution is correct, then results are great.If you notice my pictures attached - you can see1. Original crack in windshield - it is a spider crack.2. I had to wait 4 days for a bright sunlight to do the work. This work needs bright sunlight and outdoor work to be most effective. In this 4 days period, the crack lines became slightly longer too.3. 2nd picture shows how much of the crack is actually visible after the application. One small spot, which is the center of the spider crack and one line which was a bit outside the treatment diameter. that is great improvement.4. 3rd picture shows, that it is almost non-visible to the naked eye from a small distance. Even from inside the car.There is plenty of resin and spare stickers left to attempt another application. Hence i am hoping it will become negligible over time.Cons - Nothing so far - Will have to wait long term to see if the fix is temporary or the crack reappears later over time. I will edit the review when i notice something new.Until then, i am happy with the results. Kia Seltos Windshield is a big expense and insurance claim will have 1000rs compulsory deductible and loss of no-claim bonus for next year insurance premium. This fix is worth 800 bucks and hence i am happy to try it and impressed with results so far.

Used the windshield repair kit inline with instructions given with package with lot of fear in mind that whether it will work or not? But the repair kit was far behind my imagination. It worked very well and I have achieved 90 %result and as per results I might have avoided the insurance claim as it's only 1st day after repair. Only very small dot /pinhole type defect is balance from a bigger stat like defect. But very fine hairline crack are still visible if we see carefully.Overall it's recommended to use this product for small defects in windshield. It will surely cure.

The resin just fills the dent in glass. This will prevent further expansion of crack. The crack is still visible

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Mine was a stone hit on the windshield which was like a moustache almost 0.5 cm on either sides of the hit which was looking black. After following all the instructions properly, all the lines disappeared and now only the impact point looks like a small dot which can be hardly noticed. 95% it has disappeared and from inside you can’t even notice anything. I even thought of changing the windshield at one time as mine was a brand new car and thought of trying this. Even though it had mixed reviews I was skeptical but I would say the risk was worth it. Awesome product and 100% Satisfied. For stone pelts which ends up in cracks around the impact, I would recommend it 100%
