great item, easy to work with and very adjustable, light and ready to use.

I use this to carry my wife's grandfather's 16 gauge side by side, which has no swivels. It does work just fine to slip on the stock and barrels, and make my way through the woods for turkey hunting. I can see the complaints about strap position...they are valid. However, for the price, I really don't notice it that much. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most annoying, strap position is a 2 or 3. If you have a thin or sensitive shoulder, I could see it being a pain.The nice part is that it does carry the gun low enough that you are not hanging on every branch and "waitaminute" vine you go past. Once you find your spot, you can slip it off the gun and get it out of the way. Durability seems reasonable - I will use it until it dies and buy another.

Can't beat it for price - useful.

Weighs next to nothing, so it's easy to keep in your vest or game bag until you need to sling your shotgun to free up both hands. No studs, no swivels, no problem...slip the loops onto your barrel and grip and you're to go for the trudge back to the pickup. Flawless!
