I LOVE this great sounding, tough little powerhouse speaker!!!
I received this Bluetooth speaker as a Christmas gift in 2022. It is a little powerhouse and a lot tougher than I could have imagined. I use it "every single day." I listen to a lot of audio books and some music. The sound is great!! I usually have this on my bed at night because I listen to audio books every night. I set my timer and always fall asleep with this in the bed, so it's in the bed all night long. LOL. I can't tell you how many times it has fallen on the hard wood floor and still works just like new. Once it fell and one of the ends came off. It snapped right back on. Several falls later it was a little loose so I glued it back together with some electronic glue. It hasn't come off since. I take this whenever I travel. It goes everywhere with me. When I had to glue the end back on I thought, yikes, I can't be without this little gem in case I drop it and it stops working. So I bought myself another one in Oct 2024 as a backup. 🤣 I haven't needed it yet. My original is still going strong. I love the angle of this speaker and love the wrist strap. When I travel and my hands are full the wrist strap comes in handy. If you need a little, yet powerful, and great sounding speaker, buy this one. I love it!!!

Good little speakers
tl;dr: I'm happy with the sound and the build quality, as well as the ease of use. I'll keep them, assuming they don't auto-bork within the warranty period._________I've had these speakers for a couple of days (bought two to use either in dual or stereo setup). They are smaller than typical inexpensive square plastic computer speakers and weigh quite a bit more. They also sound better, unless your PC speakers cost more than $30 and include a sub-woofer.They are easy to connect via Bluetooth on both PC and Mac. I haven't tried them on Linux or a phone. The stereo connection function is easy as well. The included instruction booklet is clear and concise. I haven't tried the Dual function yet. I haven't tried them farther than 10 feet (approx. three meters) apart from the sound source or from each other. Things like walls and the transmitting power of the Bluetooth circuit in the audio device are going to have an impact on range and performance. The volume control is + or - 16 steps, and the little red power light on the control end of the speaker will blink once when you reach either 0% or 100%. TIP: Turn the speaker on and, before you connect it to an audio source or device, reduce the volume to 0% then press "+" eight times to take the volume to around 50%. You may also want to adjust the audio volume on your device to a lower level until you get a feel for the speaker. My guess is that there is quite a bit of audio processing and active EQ going on inside the speakers, and it favors and boosts bass frequencies. If you have EQ presets on your audio device, then hopefully there will be a few that roll-off or attenuate the bass. They'll have names like Spoken Word, Bass Reduce, Treble Boost, etc.For my purposes, these are "micro field" speakers that I'll use to listen to music or news while sitting at a laptop. I also tried them out as speakers for an audio device on a bookshelf. They work just fine for background music and podcasts, and fill the room. Obviously the won't move as much air as good quality bookshelf speakers but the sound is clear and pleasant. If I were going to crank up the volume I'd decrease the bass EQ on the music player first. The slightly raised control buttons are easy enough to memorize - a good thing given that they are the same matte black rubber as the rest of that end of the speaker. I suppose I would use little stickers or a white-on-black tape in label maker if I wasn't going to be handling them often. The speakers power off after a little while (haven't timed it yet) if there is no source audio, so using them to have a louder phone alarm in the morning probably work out.

highly recommend
Booming little speaker and stays charged while not in use and lasts quite some time when in use.

Better Than You Think, Smaller Than it Looks
Bought this for use with a laptop & to stream radio programs from my tablet, so I wasn't expecting the world from this. I was amazed at the quality of product and sound for this price! It's also very light. Leave it to Cambridge, great stuff even in the smallest categories. It's a lot smaller than it appears on the website, so I've posted a photo of it in actual size, so you know exactly what you're ordering. Also a photo alongside the LG PL2 (Boom Go) speaker, to put it in perspective. I really love this speaker, it's much better than what you expect in this price range. One oddity: The Warranty is secured by texting a number from your phone (strange). It works, you get an auto-reply back & I guess that's how they process warranty requests (tied to your phone number). I posted a photo of the warranty sticker on the back of the speaker itself.Bottom Line: Buy this, it's great....

Got it on prime day
Got a great sale on this, bought it for $26 I think? I haven't tested the waterproof claim yet but I believe it because it's constantly playing on a humid environment and hasn't shorted itself out. I wish the buttons were a little easier to see. Maybe if they were a different color or something. It fits in my palm, in my bag, on any surface and has an included wrist strap that feels well made and sturdy. Onto the moment you've all been waiting for.... Regarding the sound quality, it's a 9/10. For a little speaker like this, it's surprisingly loud. I bought this to block out my neighbours stomping and fighting and you know what? They can hear it too. This functions exactly as intended. Customer service also followed up on two occasions to make sure I was satisfied. For all of this, I think the price point is unbelievably low and I'm glad I took advantage of the sale. The only thing I'd say that could be changed is make some more colors please! They only had black and red when I bought mine but I'd love a metallic blue, glittery snow white or even a bedazzled version. I'd love some accessories to go with my speaker as well. I know there's a case but what if you could make something like how Crocs has the little rubber thingamabobs to accessorize your shoe? Or a little buddy that you can attach with a suction cup like a king frog, or a wizard turtle?

Good Sound
For such a small device, it packs a nice loud sound. I've had my speaker for over a year now, and it's still works just fine.
