GROHE Sliding Piece Chrome 07659000

Quite expensive but we decided to go for the brand replacement rather than a cheaper version. Not disappointed. Excellent quality and fairly easy to fit. Hopefully it will last for many years, as the original did.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Arrived on time as advertised. Very good quality genuine Grohe replacement, beware of cheaper imitations.

So far there have been no problems with this item. It is more robust than the one it has replaced. It was supplied in good time.

Expensive but excellent quality

I measured the picture dimensions and the original one before I ordered this. All seemed good. Took no more than half hour to replace the old one.The actual hole is slightly smaller - why Grohe why? only factionally but enough that the shower head doesn't sit all the way down on it at the base. For us not a deal breaker as its just a few mm and actually looks better than sitting all the way down.

Finally found a replacement shower bracket, unfortunately it came without the left side knob, had to use the one from the old broken one. Bit disappointing. Still couldn't make it fit properly so asked neighbour plumber to take a look, in fact several parts were missing so we had to make a working one from both the old one and the new one. Is it possible to get a refund because of this? Not really acceptable

I bought this holder and a new Grohe hose new from Amazon. I was told by Grohe tech dept that all Grohe hoses would fit Grohe holders. As you can see from the photo that's not entirely true. It goes in but not a great fit (only goes half way in). I have been in contact with Grohe tech dept and they say this is as good as the fit gets! I'll live with it to save replacing whole system but it's not ideal. And you thought Grohe were top of range?

Good original Grohe product but rather expensive for replacement part.
