She had used the older model when they were kids in Spain, and loved it so much that it was the one thing she wanted to be sure they all received.It makes cooking anything incredibly simple, nutritious and tasty. The recipes are easy to follow, and you can cook just about anything, except toast :) (but you can grind your wheat berries and make the bread dough in it)I have used it for the past 5 years and have never had problems with the scale, the functions or the heating. After moving from Spain back to the US, I decided to purchase one from Canada, and sold my European model, so I wouldn't have to worry about using an adapter or ruining such a useful machine.
