Old company, good product.
Game changer. Being able to take the heated plate to the table, keeping things warm within easy reach is very useful. Small (23 3/4 x7 3/4) fits on a dinning table but leaves room for things around it. Holds a 9x13 & a small platter or three Corelle casseroles. Still warm after an hour but note its WARM at that point, not hot like first heated (which is too hot to touch).Cons: no temp setting, even when left plugged in. Cycles on and off. The other is, while it looks sleek it scratches easily. Should be a harder metal to help with that.Good product I see using often. Not just for special occasions.

Cordless warmer works great!
I already had this exact same warmer which I originally bought a few years back at Bed, Bath & Beyond. This largest version, the TWT-40, 1000 watt, is awesome. I have used it at Thanksgiving, and for extra-large lasagna pans catered in, hot dips at parties, etc. You can leave it plugged in and the food will actually sizzle. If you heat it up 10-15 minutes and use it cordless style, it will keep your food HOT for an hour plus. They are very well constructed, compact & nice looking. I ordered 2 more on amazon, and they are perfect. I have borrowed my sister-in-laws expensive chafing warmers--heavy duty stainless steel. They are beautiful and work great, BUT if you have to use several of them, they require cleaning, and they are heavy and tricky to manipulate in the sink. No fun when you're tired at the end of a long night of entertaining. No need for that with these cordless warming trays; all you do is wipe them down. That's what convinced me to buy these instead. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend!

Great for keeping food warm.
This is great if you need to keep food hot (not steaming hot). If there is no outlet within reach, you can plug it in for 10 minutes. Then place in on the serving table and put your hot casserole on top. It will keep it warm for about 60 minutes. I have placed this on a plastic tablecloth and have not had any problem of burning or melting the table cloth. I will remove after 60 min and warm up the tray for another 10 min and then bring it back to the serving table. It has worked great. To some, it may seem a lot of trouble, but when there is no socket near by and the serving table is out in the middle of the room, then this is the next best thing. It is slightly heavy, but easy to carry. The handles on both side stay cool. If there is no socket nearby, this way is the best that I can find.I understand if you have a socket near by, it will turn itself off and on. It does not have temperature control. It does not need it. When the temp get high, the light turn green and when it cools, it will automatic come on with a red light.

Good product. No on/off switch.
I bought the 3-plate warming tray as a present for my Mom earlier this year. I figure it'll come in handy for meals at holidays or family gatherings with many dishes. I've tried it out myself a few times. Here are my thoughts:* It works as advertised-- you plug it for around 8 minutes to heat it up, and the food on it really stays warm for about an hour. (I timed it.)* This is important: Plates with perfectly flat bottoms work better. More surface area in contact with the warming tray.* The power cord is very short. If you plan on plugging in the warming tray while it's sitting on your dining table, you may need an extension cord.* There is no ON/OFF switch. You turn it off by unplugging it. So you can't just leave the tray plugged in all the time on a counter somewhere.* Presentation-wise, the warming tray looks nice. Not too cheap-looking. No problems with leaving it on the dining table when your guests come.* When it says "3-plate", it means 3 individual-sized plates. With larger serving plates, you might manage only 2 plates. Knowing this, if I were to buy this tray again, I would probably get the 4-plate version.

Fantastic product
I purchased two of these right before Christmas thinking oh I really don't need these, oh I'm not sure if I'll use them but I bought them thinking well maybe they'll keep some side dishes warm on the counter and let me tell you on Christmas or microwave basically imploded and was dead and I unpackage these two warmers and wow what a fantastic product they kept every single dish which was 7 side dishes and two large dishes at perfect just out of the oven temperature these are absolutely fantastic I would definitely recommend adding them to your holiday or large gathering, you just can't go wrong nothing burned everything stayed at perfect temperature I would give this a hundred Stars if I could

Very Heavy Trivet With No Switch
An electric trivet is a great convenience in keeping food warm during dinner or on a buffet. This one seeks to do away with the cord by heating a VERY heavy core, which then dissipates heat for up to an hour, so that it can be unplugged and still be in use. That works, but working without a cord is not a feature we particularly needed. Much more helpful would have been a switch, so that one doesn't have to keep plugging and unplugging it every time one wants to use it. Its heaviness and short cord make this trivet clumsy to move around. This leaves as the main benefit the long, narrow shape, which can comfortably hold three serving dishes without difficulty. The absence of any sort of "guard rail" around the edge increases its convenience, since dishes can extend slightly over the the edge both at the sides and at the ends.

Cordless and actually stays hot for over an hour.
This is the second tray like this we have bought because the first one worked so well. Solidly built and charges in just 15 minutes. Keeps food worm and no worries about tripping on cords or open flames. If having an extended party it’s easy to charge again then replace in position.
