A perfect kettlebell.
After a few years of using a medicine ball, I started to wonder how different a kettlebell could be. I didn't know -anything- about the little tool, and had never even seen anyone use one before. After listening to nothing but positive things about it on a podcast, I decided to give it a shot. With just one routine, I used muscles the medicine ball never worked, and here the kettlebell was 10 pounds lighter! I was super sore the next day and couldn't even do my usual set of pushups! Things got more intense when I was sent a kettlebell workout dvd from the Vine Program, and it was through the beginner course that it became clear that this little sucker is for real.CAP made an excellent kettlebell. You're basically buying a cannonball with a handle on it. The handle itself is thick, and the whole unit is made of solid cast iron. Before ordering, I'd read a few reviews that mentioned their kettlebells breaking or cracking after a couple of months. After using mine for about the same amount of time, I don't understand how this can be happening unless the users are dropping it or something else is going on, because this little baby is solid. It doesn't get slippery either even during intense workouts. Still, it's recommended to get a wristband of some sort for the exercises that have you flipping the kettlebell over your hand and onto your wrist.I have zero complaints about it too. I highly recommend trying out kettlebells in any store nearby that carries them so you know what weight works best for you. To really put things in perspective, grab the kettlebell by the handle's sides, like you're grabbing a bull by the horns. Hold it down below your waist, and lift it up to your chin 40-50 times. Feel anything? Now try it with a heavier weight and see how much of a difference that is with something that really isn't that heavy! This is an amazing tool that anyone interested in fitness should own. There are plenty of videos you can see online for free that show exercises to do with it. Just make sure you properly stretch first!

Just starting, just what I was looking for...
I really wanted to lose some weight, and I started reading about Kettle Bell exercises and how they burn a lot of fat. I was getting really tired of Tae Bo, so I thought "Why not?". I ordered a 15lb weight to start off with, thinking that I didn't want to injure myself right off the bat as I felt I had little upper body strength. I found the weight just right to start off with, not too heavy and certainly a challenge. The kettle bell is smooth on my hands, although after a few sessions, I realized I needed to take off my wedding band as it would pinch. I've got a few callouses now, but I don't really mind.I have had the kettle bell for about one month now, and I'm doing the Sarah Lurie videos which I like a lot. The video set was only about 11$ and it came with 4 videos, two (kind of) starter videos, a boot camp quick but tough video and an Iron Core Warrior one that I don't think I'm quite ready for yet. So far I've lost at least 12" total off my entire body, and I'm pleased. I can feel my abs folks. I can feel them when I am at work, and when I am resting and when I am working out. I've had two C-Sections, so it feels great to be able to feel those muscles coming back. I would highly recommend this to anyone who can to try this out!The Cap bell seems to be the best for your money, I haven't noticed any scratches or wearing away with it. It can get slippery when you're sweating, but you learn right away to keep a good handle on the bell or you're going to say good bye to your TV or window, or wall... After about a month in, I think I'm ready for the 20lb bell. If you're serious about finding a good piece of equipment, don't go pretty on this, go plain and smooth and solid.

Results show with Kettlebells. CAP makes it affordable without compromising quality
The kettle bell arrived in great condition. I was reading reviews before my purchase and many reviewers said their bell arrived damaged, but I took the chance and bought it and it arrived in prime condition. It was packed very well. This is a great price for an iron cast bell! I love using it for my lighter exercises such as the snatch or Turkish getup. I have a 20 lbs Ader bell which I love and have had for years. This CAP bell is just as good so far. I have ordered a 30 pound bell from CAP and can't wait for that to arrive.Kettlebells are a wonderful way to get fit for a low price all in the comfort of your own home. I recently decided to exclusively use the Kettlebell (I was using exercise DVDs before) combined with running and see tremendous results in a very short time. On New Year's Eve I couldn't fit into any of my pants So I decided to do the 100 swing challenge for 30 days and immediately saw a difference. I lost noticeable weight around my middle and there is more definition on my entire body. I am trying to eat clean and also running about 20 miles a week so the results are also attributed to these factors too, however, I believe that the swing alone has helped my running as I can feel more strength and stamina. This makes sense because when I first started I could barely do 20 swings before I had to rest. Now I can do 100+ swings without stopping--all in a month! I now swear by the kettle bell (took me years to realize and commit). I decided to buy a light bell so I can get into other kinds of exercises with it.
