Works very well for 10, 11 12 meter bands ...
Very broad banded for low SWR. Easy to pit up ... the Higher the better but even at 20 foot this antenna will do DX very well. No radals needed. Last one I had lasted 6 years even thru very high winds. Great for POTA activations or to set up at the beach for quiet operation and getting those DX stations. Salt water really boosts your signal both TX and RX.

Good antenna
I had a 5/8 wave Siro for many years and it recently broke in half. Purchased the 1/2 wave since it was shorter and less prone to break. I can say the 5/8 wave was a better antenna for both for receiving and transmitting on 10 meters. However the 1/2 wave does a decent job. Dave

great antenna
The antenna arrived on time and in good shape. It was well packaged to prevent damage. The directions were a little vague due to being translated from Italian to English however once I got all the parts layed out it got easier. Don't forget to tape up the inside the tube connection and select the length from the frequency list inside the directions. Pretty easy. The gain master does get out indeed. I put it on top of a 21 foot joint of one and a quarter inch steel galv. pipe so the top is about 39 feet high. I'm talking 15 miles base to base with no problems and receiving well. Used on a DX 2517 base. Lots of compliments.

Nice antenna for the money
Very easy to set up. Getting an swr reading of 1.1 on channel 1 and under 1.2 on channel 40. My first mounting is temporarily on a 6' fence. First contact with my Galaxy 979f was 15 miles away. Haven't tried SSB yet.Update 3/7/21I've relocated my antenna to a more suitable location and I'm making contact 20 miles away now and only seeing about 1.5 pounds of noise on average. So far I'm still happy with my purchase.
