Fine slicer for thin sheet...and cobalt!
This is for the 36 tooth "stainless" version blades. I was glad to see that Bosch is still making a very fine tooth blade for thin sheet metals. The only other I can find now is from Diablo - those are usually great blades but those are longer than this Bosch model, and more expensive. In addition to being shorter, these Bosch blades also use a cobalt HSS for the teeth, which is great for all steels but especially helpful for stainless. Much nicer to have these very fine teeth - less chattery than 24T and even a noticeable difference from the 30T that Diablo has. Makes quick work of stainless sinks and even works well on 14ga aluminum where it's nice to reduce any chatter since the aluminum can bend easily if you oops (a bit fine to prevent chip clogging but wasn't a problem for me). I wouldn't mind seeing these in something besides wavy set but they work very well. A shorter one would be great, too, but easy enough to trim them down for when that's helpful.

Cuts great
These cut through steel like a hot knife through butter. Thickest I have cut with them was a shipping container wall, which is 10 or 11 gauge steel. I cut over 30 feet with one blade, and it is still cutting like new. Cut hundreds of feet of thinner gauge steel, and never dulled a one. I have broken them but getting into a bind or bouncing out of the cut, but that is user error. I have used them in the past to cut 1/8" bar stock, but I wouldn't recommend them for continuous use on anything this thick.

Cut through aluminum rails... but slowly
Never used these before but bought them based on reviews for cutting aluminum. They do... however, you have to take it slow. The blade I used didn't suffer any apparent damage cutting 1.5" x 3/4" aluminum rails so I was very happy to see that. I haven't tried them on wood yet, but if they can handle aluminum, wood should be no problem. Plan to use these on a jigsaw table.

Nice
Need to cut out notches in 1/16” stainless steel sheet. Cut about an inch before wearing out. Wasn’t impressed but I had 4 left. Was going to order another 5 set because have more than 4 inches to cut. Thought maybe I was too aggressive with it. Tried a new one and cut slowly. Cut 7 inches no problem and I think it can do more. Very impressed.

Nice blades!
Wow... I bought these because I had to cut a 15" x 10" piece out of a 36" x 12" x 1/8" aluminum plate, for a 3D printer bed replacement project. I used my Rockwell Bladerunner to do the cutting, which btw these blades work perfectly for. I had cut 1/8" aluminum plate before with the Bladerunner, using the included metal cutting blade. It worked, but it generated a lot of heat and the aluminum had a bad habit of jumping so aggressively that it stung my fingers when it would happen. When this 3D printer project came along, I was very leery of doing my own cutting because of that previous, bad experience. I just hoped that the other reviews for these blades were accurate and that it would be totally a different experience this time around. I am relieved to say, this has been the most pleasant experience I think I've ever had with cutting metal. The aluminum plate never jumped, hardly even vibrated, and the cutting was very smooth, fast and surprisingly low heat. I was able to guide it through the machine with my bare hands, nice and close to the cut, and the metal only became just warm to the touch. I can't speak for how long each blade will last, but they are amazing and they're not at all expensive. I'm very impressed. The only thing I am disappointed about at all is that I hadn't gotten some of these sooner... I could have saved myself a lot of grief with various projects.Rick NR417
