Carrot Powder-8oz-Pure Ground Dried Carrot

Bought this to supplement my waning carrot supply from last year's garden. Great to add to soups and stews in the last minute before we move more toward Summer grilling and summer foods.Will use in sauces too, during the summer for it's "carroty" sweetness! Great product. Will buy again!

Great product. Works well for me. I read the origin is Israel and many favorable reviews. The reason I bought it.

Turns to a bright orange carrot color when moistened. A great addition to my sweet potato wraps, providing color as well as nutrition. We only thing I was disappointed about no nutritional value package. I’m assuming the company buys it in bulk and then divides it up. If that’s the case, they should at least transfer the same nutritional values to the package. Being gluten-free, are you happy that it’s not processed in a facility that processes week. They do have a process nuts, soy, and dairy products.

I received this item today and was immediately disappointed. It is not orange like carrots and there is a pinhole in the bottom of the bag with every time I pick it up small amounts of powder are released. I am also disappointed I cannot return this item. I can understand no return if it is opened but it is not opened by me. Maybe it is good, but color turned me off.

Got this as a vitamin A supplement for my box turtle. Seems to be doing the trick.

Is not fake! Very good in salad and when cooking yellow rice I used it + turmeric as I don’t used colorant

Both carrots and carrot powder contain vitamins that are good for your eyes. I mixed two teaspoons of this powder with enough water to make a paste and then I ate it. It is not bitter, but it does not taste like raw or cooked carrots. It also has a very bad aftertaste. I had to brush my teeth with toothpaste to get rid of the aftertaste. It does not say on the container what country this comes from. When carrots grow in the ground, they can absorb heavy metals and pesticides from the soil, and some countries have more of that in the soil than others. This powder would be best mixed in a smoothie or mixed with food. It does not taste good by itself.
