It came with zero directions. Exactly how are you able to adjust the spray???

Angle of spray is adjustable. Volume is determined by your water hose valve open position. Angle is determined by turning the individual spray heads, 3, on the ends of the sprayer. Turn right to have a broader soak area, and left to turn the heads up to reduce the area. Also it depends on water hose valve open percentage and volume of water. i use them on a 1 1/2 pump, 2 spray heads in series, they are great!! Full valve, and alot of water…a big spray area…

In which country is this produced?

It does not say anywhere on it but I would be really surprised if it was not made in China. A very good sprinkler though.

Does this have a timer?

No it does not, but add-on timers at the faucet are not that expensive these days. The sprinkler coverage is great and well built.

Is it normal to leak between the spinner and the piece that screws on to the base? I bought 2 and they both have a steady stream from this area.

I have one and actually have not had that problem. We have rather low water pressure at our home so maybe that's why I don't have a leak. With other hose connections (other than the Joey sprinkler) I have changed the rubber washer on the inside of the connection and that has resolved leaking problems. Good luck!
