Easy to fit and LASTS
I have tried A LOT of these mouth guards. I have a really bad grinding problem, and most often I end up grinding through a guard within a couple of weeks. It's pretty annoying, and costs a lot (which is what I'm trying to avoid - dentists ones work, but they are SPENDY!)This mouthguard is a lifesaver. They last me months (not sure if I'm supposed to use them for months, but I do) and they don't degrade - so I'm less worried about microplastics from them. They are easy to fit and just lovely to wear. They are bigger than dentist-shaped ones, but who cares when they are so much cheaper!

Doesn't fit small/petite mouth
I am a very petite lady with small bone structure and small mouth/teeth/bite. My dentist recommended this brand so I purchased from Amazon at the sale price.1) It was very hard to get this soft enough to squish on to my teeth/bite. I had to keep re-heating the bowl of water (mug is too hard to fit the item).2) When it finally was near boiling water, I followed instructions (twice). Slid the guard into my mouth to create the teeth shaping. My front teeth weren't near the front plastic as they describe while my back teeth were in the goopy stuff and the hard plastic was pushing against my jaw muscles.I let it set and then pulled out. I thought the hard plastic would come away but it does not. The "tray" isn't really a tray like other brands. the rubber guard doesn't come out or off of the harder plastic section. So, when I put it back in to fit to the teeth, the back plastic was almost gagging me and the front teeth plastic was poking out of my lips. You know what they say about 1 size fits all... it's all bologna! A big man might find this a good guard to use, but for the smaller woman, you should look elsewhere.1) there is no product refund guarantee. The guarantee on the box says that it will always fit...no offer for refund if it doesn't work. Only phone number to have someone help you try and try again. I can't get my $ back now... waste from my wallet.I've purchased another brand that hopefully will work for me and if not, they have a refund guarantee.

It does fit a small mouth
I myself have a small mouth, contrary to what my parents told me growing up. I do usually remold this guard a few times but this is also the fourth one I have purchased so it isn't a ton of effort. The guard for me lasts around 8 months and I try to keep a spare on hand if I notice I'm wearing a hole in it. It really protects my teeth, my dentist was pleased and as long as I keep up on replacing it, no cracked molars. The guard stays snug in place overnight, well secured to my top teeth. I don't find it overly thick, and if I to feel any uncomfortable rubbing I can trim with scissors. It's easy to mold and insert/remove. It had a good price point to where I can replace it without breaking the bank. The time between replacements will depend soley on the severity of your grinding issues.

Great Product for Those Without an Overbite.
I found this product to be generally good. The quality was good, and I liked the fact that it wasn't super bulky when you had it in your mouth. The case that comes with it is nice, and feels sturdy and the included instructions are thorough and really help with the molding process. I didn't feel like the mold was too tedious and it wen't by pretty quickly and overall I would recommend this to someone who has a normal bite. That's where my personal experience deviated from some of the other reviewers. I don't think this guard is a good fit for someone with a very pronounced overbite. When I was molding the guard I knew I was going to run into trouble by how far back the hard plastic on the bottom of the front teeth pushed my bottom teeth back. This moves my whole jaw back and doesn't allow my teeth to rest just behind my top front teeth like they usually do. When my jaw is naturally closed without the guard, my bottom front teeth are totally hidden by the top teeth. My overbite is pretty severe and I would assume people with underbites would also have issues with this thing fitting perfectly. I had to put way more pressure than necessary to bite down as the instructions said to mold it and when it is in my mouth it feels like there is too much pressure on my front teeth because in the mold process I had to put extra force to bite down normally and move the hard plastic bottom.I have used this guard overnight for three nights now and I have woken up with the same jaw pressure I felt before I got the guard. I think my clenching overnight with the guard is forcing me to clench harder to compensate for the awkwardly placed guard behind my front teeth. I also wake up in the morning with slight soreness in my teeth and the feeling like they are being moved. I can't verify that, but when the guard is in, it is very very snug, to the point of being borderline unconformable. So the bottom line is, I would recommend this in a heartbeat for someone who has a normal bite and want a good quality guard that will hold up well against bruxism. At this price point, it's hard to deny the quality you receive. However, I would discourage anyone with a mild to severe overbite to purchase this product due to the lack of comfort it will give you. It's just not made for overbites.
