can you use ear phones with the 251 model?

No. I assumed it would. Quite frustrating as the point of purchase was to not have to listen to my kids’ music choices.

Does this come with the a/c adaptor?

Yes, it comes with a power cable.

No, it does not play any other format than audio CD.

Does it have continuous play?

It does have a repeat button. Pressed twice the CD will repeat continuously play until you stop.Pressed once just the track will repeat.Hope this helps.Mike
