Q: can anyone confirm that this controller is fully functional with the US PS4 system? Speaker? Connection? Everything...

It is fully functional. I have used it with the ps4 included earbud and mic (US spec) with no issues. I have also used it with the Power A charging stand (sweet).

Q: hey why is this only in japan will it be comeing to the usa anytime soon so i will be cheaper?

From what I've read, Sony announced that it will be coming to the U.S. along with other colors. For some reason it wasn't released along with the Wave Blue edition.

Yes, it's factory sealed. Funny to see how compact Japanese packaging is compared to the states. But great controller.

Q: Why won't the controller charge? Is there something I have to do in order to get it to start charging?

That's odd. Mine charges just fine. You should contacts the maker
