Good quality large wooden cotton reels, just what I was looking for.

All wrapped up.
These spools were just what I needed them for. I have a lot of ribbons that needed sorting out (as they were messy in my craft room), so I cut a little nick in one end and wrapped the ribbon around the spool then slotted the end into the little nick I made.

Poor quality
Very rough wood, badly stained, nearly black in places, not as the picture describes. If you intend to use this for storage of ribbon etc then perhaps okay but of no use as a decorative item.
