My Weirdest School 12-Book Box Set: Books 1-12 Paperback – November 13, 2018

My 11 year old grandson loves to read. His Mother told me to get him this book series. He was so excited when he got them. He could not wait to start reading.

This is my 9 year olds favorite author! He loves this series!

These books excellent to help build fluency. The stories are silly and great to use with reluctant readers.

I have two sons one who just turned 9 and the other 7. My 7yr old loves reading. My 9 yr old err not so much. He finds reading a chore. I've bought sooo many books and he basically hates them all UNTIL I found these. He absolutely loves them. He finishes them, is excited to tell me about them and finds them really funny. I would definitely recommend. I bought this set and another he wrote that's similar and both a hit.

Some of the jokes in this book go farther than I would like my son to go, (for example, the main character often says he hates school) -- BUT, my son thinks they are hilarious, and he went from hating to read, to begging me to buy the next series. For our family, this was a great find! I will continue to buy these books until there are no more to buy! (also, for a scale measurement, my son went from scoring in the 50th percentile for reading at the end of 1st grade, to scoring in the 90th percentile in 3rd grade).
