I love chili powdered dried mango....that is not what I got. They taste more like dried mango slices that got mixed with sour patch kids. They have the same crystallized sour sugar you find on those kinds of candy. There is hardly any chili on them what so ever. Very disappointing.

Disgusting! I grew up with Chile mango in southern California, so I feel that I know what true Chile mango taste like, and this product is so far off the charts that I'm angered that this company is selling it labeled as "chile mango"; when in actuality, it should be titled "Sugar mango with chile". Many of the mango's in the package had barely any chile on them and all of the mango's were loaded with sugar crystals. This product come with so many sugar crystals that you will likely find balls of sugar crystals clumped together...gross! I will never again buy this misleading product. I threw away the bag. If you think this is chile mango, you're not only mistaken but you've never really had true chile mango. Stay away!

2 pounds for the price and free delivery seemed like a good value, but you really get what you pay for in this case. These sweet chili mango slices are the type that are soaked in artificial food coloring (red & yellow) and chemical preservatives (sulfur dioxide), so they have a very unnatural dark orange neon color and a gummy texture.I buy dried fruit as a cheat snack to avoid all the artificial food coloring and non-food chemical ingredients in sugary candies that have negative nutritional value. This recipe takes perfectly good mangoes and ruins them with unhealthy and unnecessary ingredients.Pretty disappointing and I feel sorry for the mangoes. The flavor is only bleh. Tastes like spicy sugar, to be honest. You can't really taste the mango or enjoy the texture, because of all the junk they dipped it in.
