Liked this book
The book, unlike others that I have read on Lenormand, started with the goal that you would be doing grand tableau readings by the end of the book. It took the approach of teaching 2 then 3, and 9 card readings working on reading in both directions. Very nice approach. Although short, I felt the book delivered.

Great little book
I love the work by this author - well researched, practical and on point.

A good addition to a Lenormand bookshelf. Muddy black-white card images.
I borrowed the Kindle version first, and found that I kept going to it to refer to stuff on individual cards, not a particularly easy task on a Kindle or in an app. So when I decided to buy, I got the print-on-demand hardcopy version. Biggest disappointment was that it is a black-and-white printing from a color source file: all the images are muddy and low contrast (my phone enhanced the contrast in the image included here). I wish the images had been in color (like the Kindle version), and enlarged somewhat - or better yet, for the individual images, which are alone on an otherwise blank page, joined by an image from the other deck used in a couple of places in the book. I was a little disappointed that all the material at the back about other books and sources was for Tarot, not Lenormand. Overall, I'd say this is for anyone who likes extra historical context about each card -- even beginners, when supplemented by a more general book. Works especially well combined with a good combinations book.

You won’t learn too much with this book.
This is a book but the point is that it doesn’t really teach so much about Lenormand. I bought it because I saw videos at YouTube and there is not much details about Lenormand that learn the cards’s meaning and try to interpret them. The price of the book is related about what the book is about. Short explanations for every card.

Full of grammatical mistakes
The author goes from writing “fish” to “fishes”. From “the sitter” to “the Sitter”, and so on.I don’t know if the author is a Native English speaker or not, but calling “fish” “fishes” is the minimum…Also, there’s little information about the contemporary Lenormand meanings, as someone has mentioned here (a different review). Her English is simply confusing, especially, for someone who is not a native. The spreads’ explanation is also very confusing. It seems to me the author has a great difficulty expressing herself through writing.

Not a great option for beginners.
Each card's page starts with the original "Philippe Lenormand" instructions, which is a nice touch. But then the text rattles off a slew of other correspondences, including dream symbolism and three different categories focused on Lenormand's supposed connection with coffee cards. It's only at the bottom of the page that we get to contemporary Lenormand interpretations, and those are just a few quick keywords--nothing you couldn't get from the average online meanings list. The reading instructions were similarly slight compared to other sources. Most people interested in the system would probably do better with either The Essential Lenormand or Lenormand: Thirty-Six Cards.
