I bought this pole more than a year ago for the v on top for a gun pole. I didnt realize how great of a walking pole it is also. It is super light weight so there is no problem carrying it and you can tell how much weight it will hold while your walking with it. You could break it, it's not made of steel but it is very strong even when extended. I also like the rubber on the bottom that goes over a steel pointed tip. We have a lot of snakes on our land and this pole will be great for that too. I never go out in our woods without it. I like the wood round ball on top of the handle when I dont have the v on it. This is a really great stick and should of cost a lot more than 30$. Yes I do recommend this for walking and fiesty animals and if it ever breaks I will buy another.

Excellent for hiking, walking, etc. Easy to adjust, light weight to pack, and it’s versatile.

Great value, and excellent product/features. Not carbon-fiber light, but it is certainly light enough, and strong enough. Haven’t field tested it yet, but I’m very pleased. The only problem so far is not being able to remove the unneeded small basket at the bottom of the rod. The product website listed on their brief instruction sheet is not a working website.

It works good! I have a tear in my knee and I used it to walk around an expo for a couple of hours and was impressed at how sturdy and stable it is

This was a great walking stick. I do about 10 miles a day. Today I noticed that the top and staff of the monopod had fallen off. I retraced my steps but could not find it. How might I get a replacement? Thanks!

I purchased the telescoping pole with camera mount and after about 3 months the 1/4-20 mount thread broke in half. I have another nearly 20 year old pole like this Go2Gether because I like this design -- it's lightweight, strong and very quiet to operate in the field. By adding a light-weight head you can even have a "poor man's" gunstock setup for a long lens. Go2Gether promptly replaced the pole after I reported the problem with a photo. I appreciate their response and I'm sure they will take a look at the metal thread, perhaps they can go to a harder steel. I used the old pole several years with the same setup and didn't have a failure so that thread strength is an inexpensive but key component along with reasonable use of the product.
