Perfect fit for Poulan Pro PR48BT
Perfect fit for PR48BT blower. Minor adjustments needed after installation on high end of RPM.Only issue was the silver metal piece on top. The linkage to the throttle is different. You can handle 2 ways.1. Unlink your throttle cable and thread through the new one.2. Swap only the old metal plate (which fits your throttle cable) with the new one (red in picture). You can not use the entire assembly from the old one. The old assembly with the black plastic inside the carb seems like it fits, but it isn't perfect. The shape of the new insert (which turns with the throttle, green in picture)) is manufactured slightly differently and must be used in the carb body that was shipped to you. Only change out the red highlighted piece in the picture.

So far so good on the RY38BP - NOT a direct fit
I made a mistake and destroyed the carburetor on my Ryobi RY38BP leaf blower (a gutter cleaning kit killed it, don't attach one of these to this blower). I can't find an aftermarket replacement for that carb. The impulse port is in an odd location, not matched by anything I could find. The Ryobi part, a Walbro carb, would cost about $50 shipped, and I didn't want to pay that considering that it's a $200 blower. This is a rotary throttle valve just like the Walbro and the throttle cable attaches in the same place. But the impulse port is way off, and the throat is bigger, .590 rather than .500. I made an adapter plate out of 1/8" aluminum stock, with the impulse port drilled all the way through where it contacts the intake manifold, and partway through where it contacts the carb, and made a channel between them with a small file (a mill would have been nice for this), and made gaskets for each side to match. I also beveled the intake port in the adapter plate to better match up the .590 carb throat to the .500 intake.I haven't adjusted the idle needle (and the plug is still in place) but it seems to be idling fine. The main needle as shipped was 2.5 turns out from its seat which seemed excessive, but putting it in one turn made it run very badly. I ended up with 3 turns out, or somewhere thereabouts. It's pumping fuel as it should and running very strong. Maybe even better than with the OEM carb. I was worried that the carb would be too big, but I don't think it is. And having an external high-side adjustment needle is a big plus.Note again that this is NOT a direct fit for the RY38BP blower. It took a few hours of work to make the adapter plate and gaskets. But next time I have carb problems, I'll just buy a new one of these and swap it out. You can't beat the price. It seems to be a good carb. If it's a direct fit for your application, you probably won't be disappointed.I just got done blowing for about a half hour. It died on me once and I don't know why. I pumped the fuel bulb a few times and it started back up and did not die again. It was blowing very well, moving mounds of wet leaves with no problem.

Excellent!
Worked perfectly.Installed on Poulan hedge trimmer.Note: on this application I had to flip the throttle body so throttle cable attached at bottom like original. Just remove 2 small phillips screws and reinstall 180 degrees flipped.

GREAT VALUE - CHECK GAP ON SPARK PLUG
This is a great direct replacement for Poulan Pro backpack blower. After install of the carb still wouldnt fire up. Checked the gap on the plug and it was way off. Gapped it 0.25 and it fired right up!

Spark plug is to big for poulan pr2322
Carburetor is doing OK with adjustments But the spark plug that was sent will not fit. It is too big.

Work’s.
Run’s good. The rubber grommet fit’s loose and will probably leak over time.

Ice auger carburetor
Order came in a few days. Easy to install. Started on the second pull and runs great. I recommend using the "canned gas" rather than mixing your own gas/ oil mix...especially if machine is not used very often.
