This works!
I don’t write many reviews. I do use amazon a lot and appreciate reviews so I am trying to give them. This product is excellent. It was recommended to me by a company that details cars!I have used this 2x. The first time I had a gas spill in my car—gas can over turned! It was not good. I took to detail place and they did a good scrub. But they recommended this product as well because the odor had been circulated. After a 24 hour car odor bomb-/no gas smell. I couldn’t believe it.The second time I used this was in a truck give to us. This truck was well used and had a smell of grease—this was due to the occupation of the previous owner—he was a machinist. The 24 hour car odor bomb absolutely took the smell from the truck. While it seems pricey—it was worth it to me to have fresh smelling car/truck.Was super easy to use too.

Works like a charm! No more cigarette smell!
This works great!I purchased a used truck and the previous owner was a heavy smoker. I did everything I could to try and get the smell out. I wiped down and scrubbed every possible surface in the car and the odor still lingered. I even took all the seats out of the car, carpet washed the floor and seats. The smell was a bit better after this point, but still hit me like a wall when I got in the car. I purchased this and had my doubts it would work, but boy was I wrong. I open all the panels, visors, and small place the odor could be lingering and let the product sit over night. Came out the next day and let my car air out for a few hours. When I finally got back in the car, there was a distinct chemical smell, almost like the smell of a pool. I just rolled around with the windows down the next two days and that smell finally cleared. I have been driving the car for several months now, and I haven’t been able to notice any odor, cigarette or chemical odor. I even ask people who normally don't get in my car if they can smell anything to make sure I'm not going nose-blind.I would buy this product again, but there’s no need! Or at least until I buy another project car.

Helped odor, but still a ways to go
Bought a used Subaru with a strong odor, like mildew but different. This product helped, but the odor is still there.

Worked for me.
I bought a 2015 truck and after some time I started noticing a mildew smell. After back and forth with the dealer and multiple carpet cleanings. I myself had to take out the back seats and lift the carpet to find the whole underneath pad was soaked. I dryed it out and put vinegar and baking soda to help with the smell. That seemed to help some but not all the way. I have read a lot of other reviews on other car odor bombs that worked and didn’t work. I found very few on this one but seem to always pop up in searches. Plus I like that this one didn’t spray out smoke like others. I followed the directions and I left mine in the car for over 24 hours and started the truck twice to help cycle it all. There will be a slight chlorine smell but not to the point it burns yor nose. I let it air out for about an hour then parked it in my garage overnight with all windows open. The smell was still slightly there but went away once I stared driving more and circulating the air. I now can not smell the mildew AT ALL and am very happy with what it did. I’m pleased.

Works to remove organic based scents
First off, this product came somewhat damaged, it was sealed but on the second level there were the pellets above the level that was sealed which made it kind of messy removing the instructions and fluid.Next the actual review, this is one of many chlorine dioxide based smell removers for cars, you want to be extra careful using this as you need to make sure the car is sealed for at least 5 hours with no humans or pets accessing the vehicle afterwards as well. Also don't exceed that time because you may damage upholstery or interior of the car with bleaching particles if it spills or the chlorine dioxide can interact with some plastics after some time and change their color. You also need to ensure you do this between 50-70 degrees ambient temp. Also note this will essentially kill any insects or anything living inside the car as the chlorine dioxide saturates the inside of the vehicle. The next best thing is a ozone generator but most residential people don't have that. This really also tends to only work for organic based scents, like sweat, urine and certain tobacco smokes. You have to thoroughly detail and clean the interior and extract the seats and carpets then use this otherwise the scents WILL return. I did that and then used the odor bomb for 5 hours. I then followed up with some febreeze and ran the hvac for some time. I then replaced my cabin air filter. Adam's would tell you to use their odor neutralizer but you really just need something to freshen up the cabin afterwards on top of the scent pad they provide. There is still a hint of the chlorine smell but my original goal to remove a mildew/mold and urine type smell from a 2019 vehicle worked so far. I will update this post in the next few weeks if the bad smells return. But to recap:1. The shipping was poor and a bit unfair and the odor bomb itself was somewhat damaged2. You need to essentially detail and clean the carpets and seats before you use this3. Remember to be careful with it4. Replace your cabin filter and spray the interior with a febreeze type product after using
